So finally the biiiiiiiig drama over US presidential Elections is over and now the whole world awaits Barak Obama to take charge as the suited successor of President Bush. Oh what a relief !! Especially for Iraq!! But from an Indian point of view, with reference to July 25, 2007 has any Indian made this teeny weeny observation? Well here's what it is... India managed to elect a Women President much-much before the US could or can do!!! I am not a huge fan of Mrs Pratibha Patil, infact I still believe that Abdul Kalam was a better canditate, but aren't we the nation where reports of female infanticide, dowry deaths, rape, and all disgusting brutalities against woman are published very day? For what it takes, The U-S of A infact looks down upon our country as a land of barbarians, doesn't it? But look at us, here we are, having a Woman Presiding over the nation. Well, you might argue that Mrs Patil is after all a constitutional head, agreed!!! But why don't we all walk a few streets down memory lane till the year 1966? Any bells ringing in mind?? Our First Female Prime Minister Mrs Indira Gandhi was elected in that very year, just imagine, way back in 1966... When are the post modernist, broad minded Americans going to get their female PM's and Presidents... the answer is ambigous, isn't it? I would say not too soon. But we did it and once again I take pride in calling myself an Indian .......
More often than not, most of us take pride in the fact that we can comprehend the unspoken. We claim to posses the aptitude to look people deep down into their hearts and know them inside out. Some of us genuinely posses such a mystic adeptness, indeed... but half of the time most of us assume things. We simply presuppose things about others, their traits, emotions and their state of mind. Once in a while if we are lucky, our assumptions click and our guesses turns out true. Then, we ascertain oursleves that such a bent does infact exist in us. And, that is when a serious problem crops up. Agree with me or not, we'd rather be hell bent that our assesment of a person is correct rather than trying to talk or find out what exactly other person's state of mind is... Ironically, we become adamantly sure of ourselves, that what the other person is thinking can only be what we think s/he is thinking. Sounds like a mind twister, but its true. So I won't be entirely wrong if I go ahead and scream from my roof top that we needn't be so sure of our assesment of others. It is our own value judgement and understanding that leads to misinterpretations most of the time. Another factor that comes into the foreplay here is our amour prope`. Our ego wouldn't allow us to accept that our computation can ever go wrong. Apparently, we just should give ourselves and our mystic dexterity a dose of chill pill, instead of trying to cognize others and ending up in misunderstandings.
A toxic dream is usually a very realistic, upsetting dream that is most likely to occur when your body's cleansing system is overloaded during sleep. They are usually terrible nightmares and their purpose is often simply as a signal that you went to bed in a physically toxic state. These dreams can result from a number of factors the day before, including:
