     Welcome to the Parkwood United FC website!! Feel free to look all over the site, it is a site for everybody, not just the players. News about upcoming events and games will also be on the site so there's no excuse for not showing up and supporting your team, except for the obvious being a lazy student of course.

     For those of you who have happened across the site but don't know anything about the teams, this is for you. Parkwood is a student "village" of houses used for accommodation at the University of Kent in England. Parkwood has never had representation in the college league within the University so the teams are brand new. Final details are still being worked out which is preventing the site being fully updated, but by this time next month, the site should be fully up and running so make sure you check back.

Parkwood United have gone a change in managerial style, with an AGM electing a number of officers to delegate the work of running the team. Thanks to Graham and Jimmy last year for steering the club through it's first ever season together and making it a successful year with an outstanding cup run. The new style of management sees the work split between a captain, vice captain, coach, treasurer and a social secretary, with the following people filling the posts.

Captain - Anthony Ford

Vice Captain - Richard Brown

Coach - Bradley Walsh

Treasurer - ?

Social Secretary - Jim Merrick

Let's hope that the new style can take Parkwood forward and go one step further than last year in all competitions.
