Animals for rehoming
Very few animals are available to be rehomed as a lot of them have problems, sometimes though for various reasons we do have one or two up for rehoming to good homes. We do assess the animals and make sure they are suitable for the homes they are matched up with, so the new owners also get a full picture of the animal even their bad habits if they have any.
We have a number of kittens coming in shortly, just email the sanctuary address and I will let you know when they come in, sorry about the website being down.
Minnie is a three year old cat who is very timid, although loving she is easily scared away, she would need to be in a house where there are no children and she could have someone's undivided attention. She is white with a few black patches and likes country areas where she can go out in the day and stretch out in the sun as well as explore.
There is also a male Akita needing a home, he is not at the sanctuary, he is a lovely boy and is a one person dog, he is not to be re-homed with children and is not very good with cats either. He would be better where he is the only animal and has an owner that can enjoy his company and take him for long walks. Please contact the sanctuary email address if you are interested.
Cheeko and Tanya are not at the sanctuary but we are helping re-home these two lovely animals - if you think you can help then contact the santuary via email and I will give you the contact details of the owners.
Cheeko the cat is 12 years old and is perfectly healthy and active. He is neutered and vaccinated for feline flu and leukaemia and is regularly given worm and flea treatments. He is used to an outdoor lifestyle, coming indoors when hungry and in need of a nap in his cosy bed. He has shared his home with another cat in the past and is used to living with small children. He is quiet natured and enjoys being petted. His name is Cheeko and as you can see from his photo is black with a white chest and paws. He is a much loved pet and is only needing a new home because we don't think its kind to subject him to a move to Australia.

Tanya the staffordshire bull terrier is 10 1/2 years old and is requiring a new home as her owner can no longer look after her, she doesn't really like other animals but with the right handling could get to like them.

Robin - A lovely 3 year old castrated feral goat is looking for a home, he is good with people, dogs and horses, he does like to roam so would need a country home with plenty of space, he is not at the sanctuary but if you contact us we can give you the details, he doesn't think much of rain and bad weather so would need to have a place where he can shelter and keep warm in winter/cool in summer. If you feel you can offer Robin a lovely home for the rest of his days please contact us - Now re-homed
Neesha - A cocker spaniel x retriever, she is three and a half years old and requires an owner who can give her plenty of exercise, she loves going out for long walks and is an extremely affectionate dog, who would make someone a lovely companion. She is house trained and well behaved. She is very excitable and jumps around like a kangaroo, even if you have only been gone for two minutes to welcome you. - Now re-homed
Kovis is a labrador x he is roughly collie size and is extremely affectionate, his owners could no longer keep him. He is around eight months old and is black with a white chest, he is extremely boisterous but also enjoys curling up on the settee next to you. He is housetrained and requires plenty of exercise, a country home or a home with plenty of space would be better for Kovis to run around in. He seldom answers to the name his previous owners gave him so this could be changed. - Now rehomed
Casey is a labrador x collie bitch who came into us in a terrible state having been beaten and used for breeding most of her life, she has now come out of her shell and needs a home with the love and stability. She is an outdoor dog, having never been inside, so would need a cosy place in an outbuilding or an outdoor kennel with a run. She is a very loving dog and is good around other animals, she is used to a farm environment so a country home would be required where this special lady can enjoy the rest of her days. Homes will be vetted and a small donation is required. Now rehomed.
Buster is a castrated border collie, he is three years old and needs a home where he is going to get the love and attention he deserves, he was left locked in a van to live by a previous owner and for the past two years has been fed and looked after (in the van) by a dog loving family- Now rehomed
Hugo is a German short haired pointer, a lovely liver coloured dog, he is eighteen months old and would make an ideal pet - Now rehomed
