Hi i'm Claire Marritt
I was born in Norwich in England on 20.10.1981.
As a young girl i wrote comedy poetry to make my friends and family laugh. I also wrote little songs and short stories.When i became a teenager i started to write poetry for children like fairy tales and things.
I had my first child Daniel when i was 18 then another Ashley at 19 and it was then i went through my first heartbreak of a relationship breakup, and my poetry turned into a more emotional hobby. I wrote poetry for my mum and friends and was heartfelt, i wrote poetry about my life and things going on as in a way of a diary.
Then i met Carl in 2001 and we fell pregnant in 2003. We were excited and happy and set up in a new place to live. But sadly our baby
Ellie Nadine Marritt was stillborn at 39 weeks 6 days for no reason.
I struggled alone for 18 months with no body but Carl to talk to, and as he work away i became very alone. I fell pregnant again 6 months after Ellie and William was born safely 2 weeks early 27th.4.06.
NO child to bring up.
After receiving so much support after feeling so lonely i wanted to do something for the people i now called my friends. So i decided to write poetry for their angels.
This website is all the poetry i have done, to share my feelings wishes memories and how i can look at such sadness in peoples lives in a different way, and i hope i have made a little light in their dark days.
