Ever since cohesive thought could be processed and recorded, the exchange of information has become a vital part of any conflict. Before the main body of a military force moves out, it is preceded by scouts who are given the dangerous task of gathering intelligence. While part of this is to set a path for the larger force behind them, it is also necessary for these operatives to compromise enemy installations and report to a higher command any vital information about the enemy.
With the rise of technology, and the invention of the computer, information has become increasingly easier to acquire. Subsequently, the need for protecting that information has also become greater.
This is where we come in. The Gurus are here to offer a broad network of pilots who are skilled at gathering and protecting important information.
Due
to the ambiguous nature of our work, there are a few rules that both Gurus
and customers must understand:
1. Information on all Gurus will remain confidential. This is out of respect for each other and because it would undermine the efforts of one another. Any evidence of such espionage will result in removal from the group.
2. Disclosure of any customer's name is prohibited, regardless of the customer's disposition. This is to emphasize the fact that the Gurus are a truly neutral organization.
3. Members will remain spread out except under certain circumstances. This is to ensure the broadest coverage for our services. Requests for services should go directly to the alliance leader, who will then send out a message. The nearest Guru will then take the job.
Requirements for joining:
1. Gurus must be willing to train
to skill 25 or greater in hacking.
2. Non-Gurus will support Gurus
while they are on an alliance mission, where possible.
3. Neutral faction is not required,
but recommended.
4. There will be a trial period
of 1-3 days before application is accepted. Screening and background checks
will be performed during this time.
