My grandmother and father were both in the house I grew up in. My daughter took a picture of her closet door one night and my father and my great-grandmother were in the picture, when we downloaded the photos to my computer they deleted from the camera and showed up on the computer as blank-black shots.

friend told me of a group of paranormalist that went to fowler indiana and investigated. Wasnt sure if you were the same people or not i love what you do i watch TAPS and Ghosthunters on a regular basis. stay safe and enjoy your ability to do what you do thank you janet

I really want to know the truth about the Seelysions Private School in Cedar Lake. I have been there during the day as of recent and went there about ten years ago at night and did not see anything. I would like to know if there are any newspaper articles that can backup the horror stories about the place.

This is Jim from PSI. Sorry for the late response. Salesians Prep School in Cedar Lake was one of my original pet research projects since back in 1997 or so. I've been there a few times, both day and night, and had some really interesting experiences there. I'm reluctant to go out on a limb and label them all "paranormal", but I can't say they weren't, either. The place definitely has an interesting and eerie feel to it, and I am sure "something" happened there. You won't get much in the way of true horror stories from old newspaper accounts (unless you find something I haven't seen yet- and if you do, please let me know!), but most of what I've been able to gather about what went on there is much more subtle and appears "between the lines" of newspaper accounts and personal interviews. I would suggest checking out the "Cedar Lake" files and "Lake County Schools" files at the Lake County Library's "Indiana/Genealogical Research Room". I got a lot of good information there. Also the similar resources at the Crown Point Library.
As far as the horror stories of a priest or a student going crazy and massacring a host of students, it's just not true. There's a story of a priest killing himself there, too, and while it's possible, I've never come across any documentation to prove it. hello mark, I myself are very interested into looking into the hospital. I am from crawfordsville and i am looking for someone to take a look or feel in my home. we recently had a suicide in the family and we are having some weird experiences!

I live in montgomery county indiana and i would love to join a group like yours to investigate the old culver union hospital in crawfordsville indiana if the owners would allow it probably would have to wear respirators though but most of the operating rooms and er and morgue are still in there im starting my own paranormal group up hickory ghost hunters
