Paranormal History

Hello, my name is CJ Linton.

I'm a 29 year old Historian living in County Durham in the North East of England. I am simply fascinated by History, every aspect of every period appeals to me on so many different levels. I actively take part in Paranormal Investigations and have just this year started my own website which contains articles and posts I have created about various places and various hauntings. It is not a database site with every single haunted location in the world upon it, there are already plenty of those kicking about. My articles sometimes offer a different historical take on a period of history, or even a different reason for a haunting. Investigating why a ghost haunts a specific location often touches upon other forms of history, Military history, Social history, Crime and Punishment etc.

I detest historic locations who feel the need to change their history to better fill their bank account with visiotrs coming to see a place where every king and queen have visited, History is interesting enough without the amatuer dramatical accounts of King such and such staying her in the year dot... it is not needed and quite frankly I consider it a crime to obtain funds through wrongful means.

As well as making my way around the Paranormal community the majority of my work is involved in research or consultant work on various Documentaries and TV Drama's. Hollywood is stil a little too far away... yet.
