Val's Paradise Fish

Adam is behind Eve in this pic. He is about 75% her size vs. 50% when I got him. He's still having a hard time spawning as he too small to wrap his body around hers. They truly are an amazing fish.

This is a better pic. You can see Adam on the top & Eve on the bottom. This was taken 1/26/06.

Eve left us on 2/24/06. I think she had a broken heart For Pari as she never spawned w/Adam. She just hung around the filter intake where Pari used to build his nests. To keep Adam from possibly getting depressed I got another female, Nevaeh ("heaven" backwards). She is half his size. This was taken 3/2/06 in the 10-gallon.

This is Adam and Nevaeh together in the 10-gallon. I got her 2/25/06, they spawned & laid eggs 2/26/06 & the fry hatched 2/28/06. This was taken on the same day as the above pic. Aren't they just gorgeous? I moved them instead of the fry this time. The fry are still in the 7-gallon hex. Nevaeh is on the right facing downward.

These are Adam & Nevaeh's first fry. They're about 3 wks old here. Right now they're 4 & a half wks old. Today is 4/1/06. They're quite a bit bigger now & I can see them from 20 feet. Some even have their stripes already. I figure there are roughly 100. This picture only shows a few.
