Back to school..

Hey everybody, I'm finally back. I've been gone for almost two months now. I got home from America in the end of July, and then we went straight to our summer place.
I've had an amazing vacation!!! Hope you guys did as well! The America trip was the best experience ever!! I had SO MUCH fun! We were 20 Norwegians going to Massachusetts to live in host families and going to an American school. We were in Massachusetts for 3 weeks, and during that stay we also went to Martha's Vineyard. Love that place!!
My family was the nicest persons in history!! I lived in a Family with two girls, Hannah (11) and Sophie (9). They were so cute! I miss them so much!
When we left Mass, we went to New york for a couple of days. We shopped a lot, went to Hairspray on Broadway (amazing!), to the top of Empire State Building, To walk across Brooklyn Bridge, to the National History Museum and a lot of other places. I've probably written it a dozen times already, but I loved it all, had a great time, and miss everything and everybody a lot!!

Today was first day back to school after the vacation. I started on a new school. It's sort of like high school, I guess. It's 11th to 13th grade... It was a big change because I'm used to a class of 60 pupils, but now were only 28 and we only have one teacher. He seems really nice though... And I came in the same class with one of my best friends and one other good friend, so that was great!

You may have noticed that I've changed the layout. I had so many pics from the trip (over 850!!), so I wanted to use some of them on the site. I'm fairly pleased with how it turned out...

Layouts, I'm going to The US

Long time, no see. Now I am finally finished with all my exams and I have officially graduated from Kvernhuset (my school). The last week of school we were rehearsing a lot for the final show. It was SO MUCH FUN!! But the last day was so sad! I am really going to miss everything!! My school, my friends (the ones who are going to another school after summer), my teachers and everything about it!! So far these are the three BEST YEARS of my life!! <3
Okay, I have to stop this now, or I'll start crying or something :p

So... Next week, wednesday to be exact, I am going to The US. It is going to be so much fun! I haven't heard anything about where I am going to live yet, so it's a bit exciting, and of course, I have to talk english all the time which is a bit scary, but mostly I think it's going to be great!! Okay, that sentence was a bit long and weird, but whatever.

I have made a few new layouts... None of them are anything to jump up and down about, but I'll post them anyway:

Layouts and icons

So, I have made two new layouts. They are both pretty simple, but I thought I could upload them anyway. I also made four icons. These are actallu the first icons I have uploaded on this page, so hope you like them.

Re-opening, sort of

So, I have decided to re-open my site.. I won't be updating very open, but I'll try to do it once a week or something.
I have ended layout challenge #4 - FINALLY. Sorry it took so long!
I have added to new affies to my list, so please check them out ! :D
As you may see I have changed the front page again. I am sort of happy about how it turned out. It is featuring Twilight. You have probably already noticed, but I am pretty obsessed with that right now ! <3

I am putting my site on HIATUS

Hey everybody. I am putting my site on hiatus for now. I have lost some of my interest in website-building, and I am no longer able to keep in touch with all my affies as much as I want to. I'm so sorry guys, you are all great.
If you are my affie, you are free to delete me if you no longer wish to have me as your affie, as I will not update in a while. I will keep the site open, and the links to your sites will still be up, but I totally understand if you want to take me down.

I will end the layout challenge soon. I'll tell everybody who entered on their site.

So I decided to cange my front page. I am now finished with one out of two final exams, and I may start to edit my site once in a while again.
I know I promised to end the layout challenge, and I will! Maybe today, or in the nearest future.

Brushes, please vote for me

So, the day after my last blog I uploaded 3 new brush-sets. Go check them out and tell me what you think! I am not the best at making brushes yet, but hope you like them ! =D

I am actually really tired right now - my cousin has been here this weekend and we got to bed really late last night - so I think I am going to bed. ;)

I promise I'll do better

I know, I know. I am officially the laziest/worst website-updater ever. I know I promised to upload new brush sets and PNGs and other stuff, but I have simply not had any time to do any updates.
We are finally finished with all our mock exams, så now I only have a trial oral exam, a real oral exam and a written exam. It never seems to end...

When we had our winter break a couple of weeks back, I started to read a book called Twilight, and I got totally addicted. I have read all the three books that have come out in the series so far multiple times, and heard them on audiobook at least twice. I know I sound a bit crazy, but they are truly the most amazing, wonderful books I have ever read. The fourth book in the series are coming in August, and I can't wait! They are also going to make a movie of the first book and I am SO excited! It doesn't come to theatres until December though, so it is really going to challenge my patience.
They have picked Kristen Stewart to play one of the two main characters (Robert Pattison will play the other), so that's why you'll see a couple of new layouts of her.



So, I won't promise to do anything, but I promise that I'll try to upload the brushes and the PNGs and stuff tomorrow or in the nearest future. Gotta go to bed now!

This and that

Yeah, I am still alive!
I know I have been doing next to nothing on the site lately, but - as I have said so many times that you're probably sick of hearing it - I have hat too much going on at school. It will probably just get more as we are soon having our final exam, but I promise I will try to do better on the site!

I had a great easter holiday btw. It was so nice to have some time off school. Vi went to see my grandfather in Bærum, and we went to our cottage close to Beitostølen. Kari, a friend of the family came to see us. She lives in Japan, so I havent seen her since last summer.

Back to school it was as crazy as always. Unprepared tests and lots of work to do, but we'll get through it one way or another.
Tomorrow I am going to Bærum again to a meeting about our (me, my cousin and my brother's) trip to USA this summer. Well, it's not only our trip. We are going with a group of about 20 teenagers in an exchange program. Can't wait! :D

New layout challenge and layouts

So, yesterday I ended Layout Challenge #3. Finally! I know I should have ended it ages ago, but as I have been saying lately, I have had a LOT to do. Anyway, please enter the new challenge ! =D

I have also made two new layouts. One of them is the one I have on the frontpage actually, so it's not very new, but I thought I could upload it anyway. Hope you like them !

We have easter holiday at school right now, so me and my family are going away to Beitostølen to our cottage. This means that I won't be able to update until saturday or something.
