We are quite new to the Chinese Crested Dog having got our foundation bitch, Panda, in December, 2005.  Followed by the arrival of our foundation dog, Xander, and his sister Cleo who arrived April, 2007.

In our experience with the breed so far we have found them to be very diverse.  They are very active and do very well in agility.  They love their people and are best suited as house dogs rather than stuck in a kennel all day, Chinese Cresteds also become very attached to their family and want to be near you all the time so may not be suited to homes where they are left alone more often than being with their family.  Being a smaller size they are great for people who like to camp etc. as they are small enough to easily be taken along while at the same time they have the energy to keep up and once mature will walk for longer than I will!.  My Chinese Crested get along with other dogs, gentle children, and cats.
