Yo, welcome to the Writer’s Lounge. My name’s Mikael, and this happy corner of the web is my role-play information site. Though it's a constant work in progress, most of the information here is kept up–to–date, so feel free to take a look around.Now, I'm not much for introductions myself, but if you care to find out a little more about yours truly, feel free to send me a message over at [The Kingdom of Knuffel] or have a read of my profile on [Gaia Online]. What you'll find out, one way or another, is that simply put, I'm a writer, and though I write well, I still have a ways to go.
Setting a pen to paper is an art, and there are guidelines, but good writing comes in different styles, and is appreciated by different groups of people. To scorn others just because they may be “advanced” or “literate” or “semi-literate” shows a person's own ignorance and small-mindedness. No matter the skill, we all have the same love for writing and an immeasurable room for growth.
Experience may make for a better writer, because people learn from their mistakes, but I also believe that maturity and skill can’t be always counted in years.
