Palmerton Community Ambulance Assn., Inc. is a Basic Life Support non-profit 501C3 organization located in Lower Carbon County. Palmerton Ambulance has been in service since 1945 making the year 2009 as our 64rd year serving the public. At present PCAA has three basic life support ambulances and three wheelchair/ambulette van. Please see contact page to schedule van transports to physician office, clinics, hospital to residence, diaylsis centers, hospital to skilled or personal care homes and etc. PCAA serves Boroughs of Palmerton, Bowmanstown,  Lower Towamensing Twp, and parts of East Penn, Towamensing and Kunkletown. PCAA also covers mutual aid in Lehigh, Monroe County and other areas.  PCAA will accept any  donations. PCAA Board of Directors are all volunteers of Palmerton & surrounding areas and PCAA are always looking for responsible volunteers 18yrs and up. Monday-Friday PCAA Social Hall has senior center running and social hall on off hours including weekends is available upon reservation to public. PCAA runs various fundraisers throughout the year: Dinners,  Please look for postings and thank you for your support. We PCAA do many standbys: Rehab for our local and mutual aid Fire Companies-giving water, rest, transport if necessary to our firefighters, standby at football games both at varisty and little league,relay for life, various sporting events,  and etc. We do ask you the Public for any donations to assist us in operating 7day/24hrs in training, equipment and everyday functioning.We are looking at doing other transports besides the ones we are already doing to first supply a necessary function as well as to keep funding to keep us in operation. We also since in our coverage area supply BLS ambulance care and transport for Blue Mt Ski Area where both entities have a unique and excellent rapport relationship.

Our mission:

As part of the PCAA, we are a provider of emergency basic life support & medical transportation. Using the skills and technologies of the PCAA and the services available to us we will grow and succeed by-building a cost effective service that satisfies the evolving needs of our community and patients which we serve; challenging our volunteers and employees; serving the public interests; and establishing ourselves as a recognized and respected leaders in pre-hospital care. Along with that on our non-emergency side providing transport of patients to their doctor, clinics and etc with our well-known personal touch in respecting everyone’s needs at a professional manner.

Fundamental to our mission are five shared values that will shape our goals, guide our conduct, and promote a sense of pride in the Palmerton Community Ambulance association
