Merry Meet,
Welcome to the Paducah Area Pagan Pride site. This is the first year that a Pagan Pride event has been held in Paducah. The Bright Moon Coven is proud to be sponsoring this event. We hope this will foster a broader sense of understanding with in the Western Kentuky community. We are still in the planning stages of the event so watch this site or sign up for email alerts for futher information. At this time we are tentively planning on holding this event around the fourth of October.
We have setteled on October fouth for our date. We will hold a comming of age ritual, as well as a third degree iniation. There will also be a request for religous tolerance prayer at this time. We will be having a pot luck so attendies are asked to bring a covered dish, or something simalir for the meal. Grills will be provided so if you want to grill meat or otherthings bring them along. Young children are welcome as well as older kids. A craft corner will be provided for the preteens and younger children. We will also ask that attendies bring a non parishable food item for donation to a local food pantry and/ or pet food to be donated to the local animal shelter.
Any area pagan are welcome to volunteer for this event. In fact we need volunteers for this event. If you are intrested in volunteering to help in any compacity please contact us at :
