This is a journey of my NEW WAY OF LIFE. I have never been a person that had to worry about weight. I was one of those persons that people said "How can you eat all of that and not gain an ounce?" I had a very high metabolism. I weighed 97 pounds when I graduated from high school and stayed around that even after having two children. Then my metabolism changed when I started the migraine part of menopause. For ten years I lived with three days of migraines every month starting when I was 40. Still did not really put on any weight for several years. Then it started creeping on me. And it has been here to stay about 17 years. NOW I HAVE HAD IT! It is starting to affect my health. My cholestrol is high and my last bone denity was so bad that my nurse (a friend) yelled at me in good nature to start exercising. And put me on medication for it.
Starting today I am going to be very faithful about journaling my food and points. Working at making a menu for the week and try to stick to it.
Have some great support in several groups I have joined on-line. Example: Sparks and the WW on-line. Plus there are some FAB Yahoo groups. I, also, belong to a local WW group and I am sure they will be beside me helping me on my NEW WAY OF LIFE.
