Winter Series

Hey guys, I have deleted the Winter Series schedule from the web-site.  We have not had the attendance for tournaments and instead of having a set schedule, I think we're going to treat this as we probably should have from the get go.  Going forward, if the weather is setting up to be good and we can get over to SWEPCO, provided they start generating soon, or we can make it out to Beaver, Grand, or Eucha, I think we'll start spreading the word that we're getting together for a tournament by picking up the phone and start calling some folks.  If you see that the weather is shaping up to be real nice and you would like to fish, start calling everyone you can and we'll see if we can make it happen.  Let me know if you have any questions.

2009 Classic -- day One Loch Lomond & Day two Grand lake

The classic has come and gone.  First day was held on Loch Lomond under very tough conditions.  Chris Smith and Richard Champagne's boat were our day one leaders with 11.15 lbs.  Kevin Smith and Nick Wear followed in 2nd with 9.90 lbs. while Eric Douthit and Chris Sykes were in 3rd with 7.40 lbs.  Day 2 action was on Grand Lake.  Water was up a little bit and was extremely muddy.  Kevin Smith and Nick Wear put together a 13.50 lb. bag on Sunday to take 1st place overall with a combined total of 23.40 lbs.  Great Job guys.  Chris Smith and Richard Champagne had 9.20 lbs. on Sunday with a combined total of 20.35 lbs. to take 2nd place.  John Haynie and Bryan Lewis finished up the top 3 with 12 lbs on Sunday to take 3rd place overall and a combined two day weight of 18.25 lbs.  Great Job Kevin and Nick for first place.
