Justin became manager in November 2006 after previously acting as assistant to Andy Lyne, experienced local midfield player whos previous clubs include Thame United, Aylesbury United, Brackley Town and Witney

Mike Ford (Fordy) Asst Manager / Midfielder

Former Oxford United favourite, moved into management at Brackley Town following a brief stint as caretaker boss at Oxford United in the football league.

Doug Graham (Dougie) Coach

Joined in late 2006, previously involved in Oxford United's youth setup and at AFC Wallingford, Dougie is a vastly experienced coach

 

GOALKEEPERS

Steve Smith (Smithy)

First choice, experienced goalkeeper who has played for the likes of Hemel Hempstead and Thame United 

Gareth Tucker (Tucks)

First choice, very young goalkeeper who has previously played for Oxford United and Kidlington

 

DEFENCE

Mark Avery (Aves

Tall defender who was a regular at Slough Town in 05/06, no nonsense defender who was a product of Thame United's youth system

Steve Davis (Stevie)

Highly rated youth talent who made his first team debut against Lymington & New Milton 10/3/07

Andrew Gunn (Gunny)

Central defender signed from Oxford United, played some first team games for the yellows in the 2006/2007 season in the nationwide conference

James Saulsbury (Sauls)

Captain, comfortable at right back or centre half, signed from Brackley Town and has previous playing experience with Hayes,Slough and Thame United

Leon Woodruffe (Woody)

 Left back also plays on the left of midfield, recent signing from Slough Town, full of pace and energy

Ricky Allaway

Recently signed former Thatcham captain, physically intimidating central defender who is described by many as one of the best at this level

Kieran Lewis (Kammy

Youth team captain who swept the board at presentation evening collecting Most Improved Player of the year, Youth Player of the year and Nomads Player of the year, big things are expected for Kieran

MIDFIELD

Liam Malone (Maloney

Highly rated young midfielder signed from Ardley United having spent a spell at Abingdon United, previously with Oxford United , Northampton Town and West Ham United

Lee Rendell 

Young left sided player who has come through the City youth ranks, positivie quick thinking player, very pacey and loves to beat defenders

Mark Janes (Janesy)

Youth team player who has progressed to the first team, scored a goal of the season in 06/07, spent time on loan at Witney United, comfortable in right midfield or at right back.

Mark Bell (Belly)

Another product of the youth team, pacey attacking midfielder who has been prolific for the youth team

Jon Gardner (Jonny G)

Signed in 2007 from neighbours Banbury United, tricky winger with an eye for goal , previously played for us in the 2005/06 season under Andy Lyne

Darren Pond (Pondy)

Arrived at the club alongside Gardner from Banbury United, young central midfielder with an excellent football brain

George Redknap

Ex-Banbury, George can play anywhere and does it with no bother

 

ATTACK

Jermaine Mcsporran (Jocky)

Massively experienced striker whos cv of clubs includes Wycombe,Doncaster and Chester, initially left  in 1999 where he joined Wycombe, has since returned to the club via spells at Banbury and Abingdon United, influential player who will be a great asset

Alex Stewart (Stretch)

Former Thame United striker who has also played for Hemel Hempstead, Tall target man

Yashwa Romeo (Yash)

Signed from Maidenhead United, strong, quick striker who won last season's golden boot at Maidenhead despite spending alot of time as a substitute, scored on his City debut with his first touch (vs Godalming(away) 12/1/08)

Errol Telemaque

Signing from Conference south Hayes & Yeading, comfortable as a striker or on the wing, was part of the Yeading side that faced Newcastle United, also played for Maidenhead United, scored on his city debut (vs Thatcham(away) 26/1)

Ian Roper (Ropes)

Talented young player who spent 2006/07 sidelined with injury problems, former Oxfordshire County youth team player who is a key figure in the management plans when he returns from injury
