Overland Shih Tzu

My name is Laurel Taylor, both me and my daughter have been breeding shih tzu for about 6 years now. I started with my mother breeding pomeranians when I was a girl, and I have just continued with the breeding because we love our animals so. We have been breeding dogs in general for almost 20 years, starting with Chow Chows, then Rottweilers, now mainly with the Shih Tzu, with and occasional German Shepherd litter bred by my daughter. Our females are mainly housedogs, My daughter grooms everyone when needed, and our pets are all kept on heatworm preventative and annually de-wormed and vaccinated.
We breed quality Shih Tzu's in most colors including the rarer dilutes like Livers and Blues. we occasionally have solid colors, but mainly the parti's. We try to maintain breed quality with flat faces and heavy coats. Most of our dogs desend from champion stock, but we are not actively showing them cause we just breed for the best quality we can so they can become much loved members of the family. Our puppies range in size from 10-12lbs at maturity to being 7-10 lbs. We on occasion have the smaller imperials, which mature to be 7 lbs or smaller.
