Purpose of the Ministry

OverFlow Student Minstry

Our Student Ministry exists to challenge student to chase after the heart of God.  We believe that God has his hand on this generation.

Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

1 Thessalonians 3:12-13 (New International Version)

12May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. 13May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones

2 Corinthians 4:15 (New International Version)

15All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.

We want to accomplish two simple things.

1.  Our Students would love God

Matthew 22:36-39 (New International Version)

36"Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" 37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'[a] 38This is the first and greatest commandment.

This is a through a personal walk with God (Quiet time)
We also provide great teaching during sunday school
We have a more indepth study each semster on sunday nights at 7:30

2.  Our Students would love people

Matthew 22:36-39 (New International Version)

39And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'

Loving people is a result of loving God.  He gave his one and only son for people.  If Christ is the center of who we are, we will love the people he died for.

This is done through their schools.
Mission Projects,
Service to the community
Service to the the church.

If we love God, we can't help but love people...
