Animals, Farts & P Diddy!
The new trailer is here. The MGS4 TGS Trailer was released today but there were some oddities as usual. I was amazed at the new trailer. I think the part I was most excited about was the scene where Liquid and Snake face off with Rex and Ray! You know what, I won't spoil the fun. Here is the trailer.

The Beauties
When the new GC trailer was released, a new line of female bosses premiered along with it. Now it is confirmed that these bosses will be modeled after real life beauties. The aspect of these bosses will be that these gorgeous women have been formed into beasts due to war, hence victims of war. Now they are somewhat cyborg but once human. The models chosen include Lyndall Jarvis, Mieko Rye, Scarlett Chorvat and Yumi Kikuchi. My god, I am in love! Check out the beauties-
The Beasts
Yesterday, the Metal Gear Solid 4 GC trailer showcased four new bosses. This unit of enemies are called the Beauty And The Beast Unit. The unit consists of Raging Raven, Screaming Mantis, Laughing Octopus and Crying Wolf, all of which are female. In the trailer, they are said to be victims of war but not soldiers. Here are the pictures of these new but odd bosses.
NEW TRAILER...Weird But Awesome
Breaking news, a day early the guys at kotaku.com have just released a new low quality trailer of MGS4 at this year's GC. The trailer showcases a whole new lineup of bosses, two of which look like incarnations of old characters. It seems the majority of these bosses are mechanized. One of the recent trailers included those "unmanned units", in the new trailer you can apparently see someone attached to the wings even though the person might be a mech, this thing is named "Raging Raven". Second off, there is a robotic wolf named "Crying Wolf", a somewhat octopus boss that has tentacles pretty similar to Solidus Snake named "Laughing Octopus" and a weird trio of telekentic tyrants named "Screaming Mantis". Hmm, do you see a pattern here? I'll leave that up to you. But did Konami out-do themselves this time? Why are you listening to me, check out the trailer- MGS4 GC 2007 Trailer
What Awaits...
On Thursday, August 23rd, the Leipzig Gaming Convention will be held in Germany. So Wednesday night (EST) it will be August 23rd in Germany and we will have up to date info about MGS4 or any of the new MGS games they've announced over the last month or so. Check back in the coming days. Take care.
Again, I am going to refer to E3's 2007 MGS4 trailer. In the last week, I found too "anomalies" after closely viewing the trailer. This time, I'm sure you all remember the scene where Meryl's squad succumbs to Liquid Ocelot's test except for one man. At this moment we have no idea who this although there have been some rumors flying around. Let's clear this up that this man DOES have blonde hair but it can't be Raiden. So, after viewing the trailer again I noticed this man had a device on his arm. It looks like a metallic shield almost. At first it looked a number pad but who are we kidding. I looked at frame after frame and found no clues to this man's identity or why he didn't crack under that experiment, until now. This could possibly be one of the clues that can lead to why he wasn't effected. Nobody else has this on their arm or on any part of their gear. Could this be a FoxDie scrambler? Could this be some kind of new microprocessor that can stop the effects of a controllable entity? Wow, that's deep! Seriously think about it, this man is the only one in his unit that has this and yet, he isn't effected. The item seems to have a wire running from the "shield" itself to a case on his vest and another wire leading from the case to his neck. Could this "shield" operate internally and externally? It's actually quite interesting to think about it but it is not definite. Check out the pics.
For the last few Metal Gear Solid 4 trailers, there has been, let's call them "subliminal messages". Not like evil, corporate-buy-this types of messages. Simply put, just messages that are in plain sight, nothing special. Last week, I watched the E3 2007 trailer of Metal Gear Solid 4 and during the fight between Vamp and Raiden, I noticed there was a message on Raiden's exoskeleton helmet. It was pretty clear unlike when you have to squint to see the word "Sneaking Suit". So last night, I did a frame by frame check of the trailer and saw what was written on his helmet. The first time I noticed it, on the second half of his helmet, I clearly saw the sentence; "A Heavy Story". When I checked it again, the full message looked like it was supposed to say "TOKUGAWA HEAVY INDUSTRY" but it actually is spelt, "TOKUGAWA HEAVY INDUSTORY". Again, last time I saw the trailer, I saw "A Heavy Story" written on the other half of his helmet. You'll notice there is kind of two sides of his helmet, you can clearly see the line down the middle of his helmet. Now, I'm pretty sure they didn't spell "INDUSTORY" on accident. So if you look closely the line on his helmet cuts off-

Unmanned Units?
Hello everybody, wow, what a day! Tonight, I will have the sypnosis on the latest trailers. There was just one thing in the trailer that I didn't get. What were those "unmannded units" controlled by the PMC, flying over and bombing the hell out of the milita?! They looked like terradactyls with bombs! Well, who cares? They were awesome but could it be a new Metal Gear type? We'll just wait and see.
Another Demo, Something Unexpected
I did not see this coming although it's highly plausible. MGS4 will bring the arrival of someone from the past, from the 1960's, from Metal Gear Solid the Third. Big Boss? No. EVA! Yes, the return of a grizzled old Eva, with still a lot of makeup. That was a good thing but back in the 60's. She's still carrying her Mauser, but who's side is she on. Check back later for more details.

Hideo Kojima has stated that unlike Metal Gear Solid 2 and Metal Gear Solid 3, Solid Snake will indeed be the main character. He's also said that the "no place to hide" theme does not imply that the trademark stealth gameplay of the Metal Gear series will be abandoned; instead, he suggests that many traditional ways of sneaking and hiding will change and that players will have to find new ways of using stealth. Walls may be destroyed, exposing Snake to the enemy or elements such as trucks and crates may move. He has also commented that "the graphics and sound will rival anything Hollywood does", and that he is planning to hire psychiatrists to emphasise a "mental battle" between Snake and his enemies, so that "who controls the fear can decide the outcome."
It's believed that the game will utilize a new over the shoulder third person camera system as opposed to the top-down camera used in the previous three Metal Gear Solid games. An experimental version of this camera system will be included in Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence. According to Kojima, it will serve as a test to see how well the new camera fits the Metal Gear gameplay. Another feature that will debut in Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence, an online battle mode will also be featured in Metal Gear Solid 4. A promotional image released at E3 contains several conceptual character designs featuring characters from previous Metal Gear games including (as confirmed by the May 20th, 2005 issue of Weekly Famitsu) Vamp, Meryl Silverburgh, Raiden, Revolver Ocelot, Solid Snake, Otacon, Big Boss and Naomi Hunter.
In the recent trailer released by Kojima Productions, the phrase, "X Years Since Big Shell" is shown, both confirming that the game will take place after the events of Metal Gear Solid 2 and sparking debate on how many years after the Big Shell Incident the game will be set. Some fans speculate that the "X" is a use of the Roman numeral for ten, meaning that the game would take place in 2019 when Snake is 47 years old. It is thought that his old age is a side effect of advanced cell degeneration. However, this is disputed, as the Japanese captions displayed on the trailer read something in Japanese (ano Big Shell jiken kara suunen go...), which translates to "Several years after the Big Shell incident" in English. This would indicate that the "X" is simply a variable, employed in an effort to retain a shroud of secrecy over the game's details rather than the Roman numeral.
The new screenshots and trailer reveals what appears to be an aged Solid Snake, now resembling Big Boss (including wearing an optical eyepatch over his left eye), although it is not confirmed if he has lost this eye, or the eyepatch is in fact an augmentation of some sort.
The setting is in a war zone, with multiple countries waging war against each other possibly set in China. The soldiers Snake will encounter are not specifically friends or enemies at first, the player's actions towards them will influence how they respond to Snake. The CQC system (from Metal Gear Solid 3) will make a return.
In an urban environment and partnered with a robotic navigator, the Metal Gear Mk-II (previously seen in Snatcher), controlled remotely by Otacon himself. An entire army is also shown patrolling with a group of mass produced Metal Gear models known as Gekkou (from the Japanese word meaning Moonlight), which comprised of a mechanical and organic parts and are controlled by A.I. similarly to the mass produced Metal Gear Ray units from Metal Gear Solid 2.
Is Raiden going to make his last appearance? During the Tokyo Game Show, Konami director Hideo Kojima appeared on a special stage to show extra material on his anticipated Playstation 3 title, Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns of the Patriots. Kojima was expected to show footage from Metal Gear Solid 4 and to reveal details about the game with members of his development team. This is Kojima that we're talking about, so there was a major surprise for attendees.
