Metal Gear Bale?

Unconfirmed intel reports show that in a British magazine, Nuts, a interview with Christian Bale reveals he might be trying to be a candidate for Solid Snake in the Metal Gear Solid movie. The rumor popped up on the PS3 forums the other day so it is not confirmed, it remains a rumor so we will have to be on standby. Unfortunately, since we found out David Hayter himself wouldn't be playing as Snake, we won't hear the good ol raspy voice. Bummer.

Main News

July 17, 2007- Hello everbody, today is the Playstation Premier and we already have news on the MGS4 gameplay demo and a new Metal Gear for the PSP. We'll be covering this throughout the day, stay tuned.

July 10, 2007- Hello people of the world. Tonight is the start of the E3 Media and Business Summit. I will be here updating in real time everything that's going down inlcuding MGS4. I obviously didn't attend this year but I will do my best to get all the info I can. Check back by the hour and I will have everything new up. Check the Guns Of The Patriots page for all MGS4 news. Enjoy!

June 3, 2007- Hello everybody, wow, 2 months since my last update, I apologize but within those 2 months, I fixed and still came up with a lot of things. I understand I refrained from putting any news up but I just wanted to add more and more to the site then I in the end, I would add all the news we missed. Unfortunately, procrastinating led to a big gap in the news, I kept saying I would put the news up and finish the work on the site but a day turned into a week, a week turned into a month and now here we are. Alright lets run down the list-

-MGS4 On 360?- No, Kojima himself stated he would like to put "a" game on the 360 but not exactly Metal Gear Solid. Recently, a blogger put up info that MGS4 would be released on the 360 in 2008 with better features than the PS3 version. Uhhh, ne'! Turns out, he copied this word for word from a 4 year old magazine! Still the future is not set in stone, but hopefully, the Metal Gear franchise will stick to it's roots. The reason MGS4 has a bad chance of being released on the 360 is because when Substance was released on Xbox, sales were terrible but they made quite a comeback this year.

-The Good Ol' Cast- Yes, most of the old cast of Metal Gear Solid is returning for Metal Gear Solid 4, phew! Of course, David Hayter is coming back for a 4th time to play the voice of Snake and also including Chris Randolph as Otacon, Quinton Flynn as Raiden, Paul Eiding at Colonel Campbell and Patric Zimmerman as Ocelot. But what about the voices of Meryl or Naomi? Who knows, we don't even know who exactly is in it yet or who's going to make a appearance. We'll find out more soon.

-MGS4 Delayed- The trailer deceived, there is going to be a possible delay for the Playstation 3 release, pushed back into 2008! Well, reports state that release dates are being thrown around, it's either coming out around the holidays of this year (October-November) or next spring. God, please no, the wait is killing the PS3!

-Movie Confirmed- Ah yes, years and years, we've waited and now it is confirmed. The sad part is that it will not be canonical to the MGS storyline, it will not be based on the games. The reason being is because you can't fit a video game's length of story in a 2 hour film without cutting out plot points, battles or characters. A kick in the face to Hayter, he introduced some material for the movie but was declined. He won't even be a part of it, bummer. What's a Metal Gear film without the deep stern voice of the most memorable icon in it's franchise? I will have more info on what is going to take place, maybe 2009, 2010?

Site News-
-New alternate version covers for Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence including the covers for Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2.
-New alternate version cover for Metal Gear for the Commodore 64 and the IBM.
-New and fixed plausible location for Outer Heaven.
-New features for MGS2's Metal Gear units.
-Full scripts for MGS2 Substance's Snake Tales stories. These are my own docu's and they took a damn, damn long time.
-Fixed Ghost Babel's arsenal and equipment problem.

These are all minor things, why you ask, because now I have a problem with my graphics card. I have bad luck pretty much, so bare with me. I am currently working on the Digital Graphic Novel and Metal Gear Solid comics page so the Comics and Digitalism page is still underway. Also, I am working on the Metal Gear Acid cards, Portable Ops arsenal and equipment, a Portable Ops sum-up, a few articles, more Metal Gear locations for Shadow Moses, Zanzibar Land, etc and a whole lot of other things. I am also considering a youtube channel and possible a podcast, not to mention, I fixed the OHR logo, it looks a bit better now. Since my computer is running considerably low, I have to get it fixed but I am going as fast as I can and I hope you all can understand because without you guys, there would be no Outer Heaven Resistance. In a week or two I will have all the email addresses of who used to get my newsletter and I will start sending them again. I will address everything in a week. Hopefully soon, Freewebs will come up with a more customizable web base. Thank you and goodbye.

April 2nd, 2007- It is now 9:46pm on the east coast of the United States. I have urgent news on the N/A MGO Server crisis-

ATTENTION-ALL NORTH AMERICAN MGO SERVERS WILL BE SHUT DOWN AT APPROXIMATELY 12:00 AM ON APRIL 3RD, 2007. Finish off your last hours, farewell.

April 2nd, 2007- It is approximately 12:56 here on the east coast of the United States and today marks the last day of North American online play of Metal Gear Online. It has been public for a while but Konami is deciding to pull the plug on all North American MGO servers on April 2nd. This sucks so much because Metal Gear Online delivered such a great online experience. A lot of people on the servers right now are upset and paying tribute to the last few hours of MGO. We will all miss it, it has been fun. So for now people are fighting out their last matches, having gatherings, taking pictures, shooting rifles into the air, saluting and messing with each other. Well for now, I'll have to resort to Portable Ops online servers. Hopefully we'll all see each other in Metal Gear Online V2. Farewell everybody it has been fun. SnakeRCash (TSU)- out. R.I.P. N/A MGO Servers March 14, 2006- April 2, 2007

March 30, 2007- Ello everybody, the last few weeks I have been working on some glitches on the site and I'm almost finished but now I will stay on top of articles and news. I will list news on here and on the game's page. I keep saying it but its for real this time, I will start to send the OHR newsletter out this Sunday night, you can hold me to it. Now that Spring Break started, I have a week and a half off so you can expect a lot of new stuff here at OHR. I will list all of the fix ups soon so you can see what has been added. I apologize about the forums, there is a glitch but I can't fix it. I'm trying to get the banner banner back up on the forum but it just won't work. The last thing is with the "top" links on the pages, I will fix them tomorrow but now you're just going to have to use your scroll wheel, sorry! I will get back to you guys tonight with the latest and not so latest news. See you then! -Nick

March 9, 2007- Hello, everybody! It's been a while since I updated and I apologize. I got a great new dell computer for X-mas and I've been taking my time transferring all my files to my new computer. Well, since I have finally finished, I'll be updating almost everyday now. I have a lot more news to report so check back. I'm out. -Nick

December 24, 2006- Happy holidays everybody! It's Christmas Eve over here and we're getting ready for the big day tomorrow. I'm celebrating Christmas but more importantly, what are all of you celebrating? Christmas, Hannukah or Kwanza, whatever it is, OHR wishes everyone a happy holiday. Be well people, oh and some other people want to wish you a happy holiday-

December 21, 2006- I'm back from my few month hiatus, sorry for the long gap without updates or anything. I was away from the site for a while for personal reasons but we're back and I'm trying to do everything to catch up. Thanks to the people who left comments, without you guys, OHR would never be. Well, it is the holidays, whew! It was a fast year but here we are. I'm bringing back the picture I made last year. It is a Christmas theme, but I do wish everybody a happy holidays. I will put it up on Saturday, the day before Christmas Eve. In other news, the newsletter will be sent out again starting next Wednesday (12/27) with volume 4. If you haven't noticed, I have put up new collection photos with a "budget" seal of approval thanks to the nagging of people who didn't think I had what is in my colletion! I don't have all the pictures yet, but I will put the rest up soon. Not to mention the PS3's release last month, I did not get one and thank god because I would have been shot and killed for it. I'm going to wait until March to get one then wait until next October for MGS4. If you want to see more updates and what has been updated, go to the OHR Myspace for more. If you want to find out who I am, the answer lies within the OHR Myspace. You can also find more through the forum. Alright, well make sure you check back on Saturday to check out whats going on. Take care and be well. -Nick

September 23, 2006- Hello people, I updated the MGS4 page with a working trailer and a story behind it. I will update the Portable Ops page tomorrow morning. Hope you like it and by the way the trailers...are AWESOME. Go to the Guns Of The Patriots page to learn more.

September 22, 2006- Folks, we finally have new trailers. They were aired at the Tokyo Game Show not too long ago. Konami has a portal site to see the kick ass new trailers. I will update more throughout the day inlcuding details and story on the trailer so check back on the MGS4 page and the Snake Eater/Portable Ops page. Here is the Konami site- Konami TGS 06

September 12, 2006- I'm back with a vengeance, well not much except a new Archive page! Now instead of having a long page of headlines, you can go check out the old ones on the Archive page. Not only that but you can view all the newsletters ever sent except from volume 2 because most of my mailbox got deleted but there is plenty more. Now, the folks that don't suscribe for the newsletter can check em out. The only way to see them is to download them and they are in a Rich Text Format just to let you know. I'm having a problem getting the pictures on the certain format but I will work on it the next 2 days. You can always trust us here at OHR, all downloads are completely safe. Well take care and check back tomorrow night. I'm out.

September 10, 2006- Hello everybody, tonight is the night before one of the most horrifying acts of terrorism ever committed. September the 11th reminds everybody to realize that there is nothing more important than life and how you can lose it so easily. As I feel hurt inside talking about 9/11, I want to send out a dedication to everyone that lost their lives, family and friends. Where were you on that fateful day? I remember I was in school feeling a weird sense of paranoia when I woke up that morning, I was right across the river in Staten Island, I can see the smoke from my house. So when you wake up tomorrow, make sure you tell your family you love them, you'll never know how much those words will mean. I don't feel right putting about news about our site here just yet, but I will in a few days and for you newsletter readers, be sure to check tomorrow night for a newsletter in your mailbox. Good night everybody, take care and god bless anyone effected by 9/11.

September 1, 2006- People. this is just a quick notice, there is something wrong with the template, it is supposed to be fixed. Give us at least one more day and everything will be out back in order here. Stay with us.

August 31, 2006- Hello again, I have a lot of important news for many new changes here at OHR. Everything you sere here will be in effect by tomorrow, the 1st of September. Here are the announcements, which can also be seen on the Myspace (you'll know what I mean after you read), a special newsletter and on the OHR Forum. See you tomorrow.

New Logo- I promised it and you got it! The new OHR logo is here. It is out there but is pretty cool and original. Hope you like it and it will be up soon on the site. It captures all the aspects of "Outer Heaven Resistance". Check it out-

OHR Has A Myspace- Yes, it is true, OHR officially has a Myspace! It sort of has a role playing sense. It has the new logo and the sense of "Outer Heaven Resistance". I put the name under Kyle Shneider, the leader of the resistance group in Metal Gear, hence Outer Heaven Resistance. It has a cool look and a simple feeling. It will include the weekly newsletter and site announcements. So, if you have a Myspace, drop by and send us a request. Here's the link- OHR Myspace

New URL- Thanks to my site builder, Freewebs, (which is a fantastic and highly recommended) has given all Freewebs users a new url. The old url, www.freewebs.com/outerheavenresistance is long and annoying to type. Although we have a new url, the old one still works. The new url is- www.outerheavenresistance.webs.com

New Look- I am thinking about giving OHR a better look since it has had the same look for a couple of years. The template will be changed and most of the logos. For now, just the template will be changed to a new and better look. In a few weeks, I will put up new logos.

New Store- There will be a store for you Metal Gear collectors right here at OHR. I wll have items up here and through ebay. I will also sell different things as well.

Reset Date- After this news, I need to tell you guys exactly when everything will happen. I have put down the date for September 1st so by then, OHR will look different but better. I hope you guys like it so check back by then.

For Sunday- Sorry about this week folks but I won't be sending a newsletter this Sunday but next Sunday wil kick stat into volume 3, issue 1 and will start off for the school year. We'll reconvene at your electronic mailbox September 10th. I will have all the news updates on the homepage of OHR, and I will see you guys on then!

July 22, 2006- Well hello everbody! It's been a while since I last put a headline up but I have been to work on the site. If you browsed around I put up the soldiers from Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake and I wrote a review for the new Portable Ops game coming out on the PSP which you can find on the kind of "new" Snake Eater/Portable Ops page. I'm sorry I wasn't around to wish everyone a hell of a 4th of July. For the members who get the newsletters, I'm sorry I haven't sent one in a while, I've been very busy and haven't got a chance to write one in a while but there will be one on Sunday, I promise you that. I plan on writing a review for the Digital Comic and Acid 2 ( I finally got it!). I also plan on putting up a lot of other cool stuff so come by during the week. Not to a mention, I have made a new logo for the site but only the fans of the newsletter will get to see it first then once I have a decision, I will put it up here. One more thing, I don't know if anyone is having trouble with the forum, if so please email me. Alright everyone, have a good weekend and I'll see you around the net. -Nick

May 25, 2006- Hey guys, the forums are on the fritz, I don't know why but I will wait it out until tomorrow. I will have pictures and info of the Zanzibar soldiers up also around tomorrow night. Good night folks.

May 22, 2006- Good afternoon everybody, I am putting some new stuff up on the site and I will have all the updates and what I have done here in the news in a few days. In 2 months, Outer Heaven Resistance HQ will be 2 years old on July 27, 2006. Check back soon.

May 5, 2006- Hello folks, this is the first news update in a while. I stated in t he forums, I had a virus on my computer and had to get rid of it, so I bought myself a laptop and now I can update more frequently because I could be anywhere while doing my work. I have breaking news of a pirated 90 second sound clip of a new MGS4 trailer. You can get the link and read more about it on the Guns Of The Patriots page. Next week is E3, I was hoping to go this year and I would have brought you live footage but I don't have the time or money to go. I will be updating for frequently so check back during the week and the newsletter will start again this Sunday starting with volume 2. Take care.

March 15, 2006- Hello again, yes, it is finally here. The Metal Gear Solid 3 remix called Subsistence. The first disc, subsistence, consists of the entire game with a new third person viewer. The second disc, persistence, consists of online multiplayer, snake vs monkey and the original Metal Gear and the Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake game. The third disc, existence, consists of theater mode with cutscenes from the game, new recut cinematics from the game and the Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer. I've been playing this already and it is an awesome set up. The limited edition is only $40, plus you get a Metal Gear Acid 2 art lithograph. You can also buy the regular edition for just $30. I must say, Hideo Kojima did a swell job with this latest installment. Here's a picture of what you get-

March 14, 2006- Hey, what's going people? I've been working on the site lately, as some of you have seen, the forum is starting to pick up the pace, newsletter list is getting bigger, and so on. I plan on reviewing the Metal Gear Saga dvd which I came close to not even receiving. It's March 14th, I know, Subsistence was supposed to come out today here in America but it is coming out tomorrow, the 15th. Hope you guys preordered them because they will go fast. I'm still working on the site along with some new ideas. Hope all are well and having a good week. Check back soon. Reporting live from HQ, this is...

February 1, 2006- Greetings, I know, its been a long time since the last update. I've been recovering from my surgery but in that time, I have come up with some great ideas. There will merchandise sold on this site, some of which you see on the collection page. There will also be Outer Heaven Resistance HQ trademark merchandise sold like shirts, keychains, stickers, etc, all with the site's logo on it. I'm also making business cards for the site and those will come with your order. The last idea I had was for a weekly newsletter which people can register now for it and get the first one this Sunday. So whoever wants a weekly newsletter for now on email me at runthaastreetz@aol.com to receive it every Sunday. I will still be fixing and adding material so check back since I'll be updating more. Cheers -Nick

December 23, 2005- I'M BACK WITH A NEW BACK! I got through my surgery ok. I now have bars in my back to straighten out the spine and right now I'm still recovering. I'm getting back to working on my site and I will have updates and news before the 25th so hang in there. I'm out -Nick

December 6, 2005- Hello everybody. I'm sorry I haven't finished updating, its been quite hectic for me lately. I have a operation tomorrow at 6:30am for my scolyosis. Basically my spine is in the shape of the letter "s". I have a 52 degree angle curve on my spine. I will report back in a few weeks so take care and I will finish updating soon. Wish me luck and happy holidays. -Nick

November 6, 2005- Alright, I was updating some more today but I have to fix the Ghost Babel weapons and items on the Non Kojima page. There is also something wrong with the Guns Of The Patriots page. I will work on them tomorrow and the site should be fully updated by the end of the week.

November 5, 2005- Hey everybody. First things first, I have not been in Parris Island all this time! Second, I've been hard at work updating everything I can on here. As you might have seen, I also have some new selections on pages and even a new page called Metal Gear Revelations. I'm still working and I will have a list in a few days of everything I've worked on for the last 41 days. Cheers

September 20, 2005- Hey people, I won't be here for the next 3 or 4 days because I'm going to Parris Island to see my uncle graduate from the US Marine Corp-OO RA. When I come back I will put up info for Metal Gear Acid 2. I've made some updates to the site just to let you know. Make sure to check out our forum, once we get enough members we will start posting. I'm out -Nick

September 15, 2005- Metal Gear Solid 4. Four Words-You'll be blown away. Konami has finally after all these months Konami released not only screenshots but footage of the actual game. Released at the Tokyo Game Show left a lot of people confused. Here's a brief summary. Now we know the official title-Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns Of The Patriots. Weird huh, not even compared to what Snake looks like. The game takes place X years after Big Shell but they didn't say a lot of years. Yes Snake is old even with gray hair, an old timer still in battle. The gameplay is weird too, it looks like Full Spectrum Warrior and Delta Force BHD. The graphics are absolutely incredible, you will love it. Here's the trailer I got from Game Meca.com thanks to my Japanese translator. Also, here's the review from Gamespot.com. Check out the Metal Gear Solid 4 page for more. Here they are- Metal Gear Solid 4 New Trailer/ Gamespot Metal Gear Solid 4 Review. We also have updates for the upcoming MGS games so check them out. Cheers -Nick

August 29, 2005- Finally I have caught up with what I missed but I finally received Metal Gear for MSX2. I got it off Ebay with ending only 2 bids (me and some other person) I got it for about $90. Its on the collection page. Be sure to check it out. Cheers -Nick

August 18, 2005- Uwe Boll, a very untalented movie director with our luck is interested in making a Metal Gear movie. Here's the interview he made with Insomniac Mania-Director Dr Uwe Boll, known for his horrible game licensed movies "Alone in the Dark" and "House of the Dead" and a few more in production (Far Cry, Fear Effect, Hunter The Reckoning, Night Claws, Dungeon Siege, Bloodrayne), stated he's highly interested in making Metal Gear and Postal movies. Insomniac Mania: What other games have caught your eye ? What about Splinter Cell? Good idea? Dr Boll: Postal and Metal Gear. I pray for a better director!

August 17, 2005- Here we go-I got the news from the convention. According to Konami there will be no Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer and further info until next month's TGS(Tokyo Game Show) in September but the story line will take place after Sons Of Liberty obviously and a few more features for PS3. There is good news, Konami's Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence site has a new trailer-Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence New Trailer and they have new info about it. They say it will be released around the holidays, they also have a new press release-Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence Press Release. A possible date for Metal Gear Solid 3 Subsistence will be in 2006 but not exact. Good news for you Euro's, Metal Gear Acid will be released in Europe on September 1st so all you Euro fans, check that out. So everybody, just hold in there for one more month and we will finally see footage of Metal Gear Solid 4. I'm out

August 15, 2005- Ok I got the news on the footage of MGS4-The revealing and footage will be shown at the Leipzig Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany from August 17-21. They will also reveal details about Metal Gear Acid 2. I will have the footage and details up and running the same day. So check back here on the news, I promise. Yay :)

August 11, 2005- Anticipation, Anticipation, Anticipation. There will be actual footage of Metal Gear Solid 4 for Playstation 3 on the 18th of August. Check back for more updates.

August 9, 2005- I got a new Metal Gear Acid Promo Box from a store called EB Games which I'm sure you are familiar with. It's good that I got this now because these will soon be gone.

August 1, 2005- I got 2 new items from a really good game store in New York called Multimedia 1.0 in St. Marks. I received an old MGS2 Substance Poster and the Japanese Metal Gear Solid 2 Substance Game. If you are in the New York area and you want to check the store out the address is-18 Saint Marks Pl. The store has a lot of great old school games and new games and lots and lots of imports.

Collector's News

Collector's News

January 7, 2008- Hello everyone, hope everybody had a good holiday and a happy new year. Well I received two more MGS collectables today-

-Metal Gear Saga Vol 1 Promo (MGS3 Subsistence Pre Order) DVD (x2)-US

-Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops Promo Shirt-US

Now, I already have the Saga, so now I have 2 but I never put the one I originally got when I pre ordered for Subsistence up. Plus the shirt was a very cool find, I believe it is a glow in the dark  type of shirt but it came from the 2007 Gamestop/EB Managers Conference in Las Vegas which I thought was pretty cool. Well that's it but expect more!

Also, I have had a collectable in my arsenal for quite some time now. When I bought it, the listing stated it was a Metal Gear Solid collectable pin set. I have never seen these before and no they are not the SD character pins. I believe I was told once that they were possibly custom. If anyone has any info on this please contact me. Thanks. Here is the picture (Click to enlarge)-

December 26, 2007- Yesterday for Christmas, I opened up my own gift, that I bought for myself. It was a SEALED MGS 20th Anniversary Kubrick set! Now usually 5 kubricks come in a toy line and including 2 secret figures. Now I got it for a reasonable price at $160 in total, not to mention I have seen a single line of 7, go for around the same price. The kubricks that come in the set include Solid Snake from MGS1, Naked Snake from MGS3, Old Snake from MGS4, Ninja from MGS1 and Raiden from MGS4. The secret characters include 2 clear versions of Snake and Ninja and have been dubbed "Secret Versions". Now for the best part not only is the retail box sealed but the box includes 24 pieces. Now that can 3 and a half sets. Since I am such a fien for MGS collectables, I refuse to open it, I know, I know! Because of that, I have included a picture of what's inside from ToyTokyo, a very cool store in St Marks Place in Manhattan and a picture of the actual figures from Toysrevils' Blog. I swear, this has to be one of my favorite collectables. Now, if you live in the NY area and crave for this, then go to Toy Tokyo and see if you can get a sealed retail box. They might have a box opened but I'm sure they would have some in the back. Mine is in beautiful condition coming all the way from Hong Kong. I was pretty lucky too, I have only seen 2 sealed retail boxes of these on ebay. Man, Christmas was great! Take care.

December 20, 2007- Hello MGS collectors or fellow onlookers, here are some cool items I've received over the last few months-

-Games/Misc Games-
Metal Gear Solid Trade Demo-PS1-US -Disc(Mine is sealed, Disc Photo-Thanks)

-Books/Mags-

September 15, 2007- Folks, you're going to love this. I was scrolling through Ebay, mainly Metal Gear items and came across something bizarre, stupid and irrelevant. I don't want to diss this but I have to. A pair of "inspired" Metal Gear Solid sneakers! Yes, SNEAKERS! First I want to say, it is no mistake, in the description, it states these sneakers were inspired by the video game Metal Gear Solid. Second, they look nothing like it would have anything to do with MGS and third, they're $100 due to the fact it's rare release! I'm sorry, I personally believe don't like them, it's just another sad attempt to try to make money off a video game. The company who makes the shoes are called "Run Athletics" which is run by Run DMC's Rev Run and his brother Russell Simmons. Now, there's no way to tell if it is true that these shoes were inspired by MGS but the description defenitely hints it. Here is the picture of the shoes. I'll let that sink in! Judge yourself. You want to LOOK at the auction, here is the link- Metal Gear Solid Legacy Shoes!

August 15, 2007- A few days ago, I received in the mail which I thought to be a Metal Gear Solid PAL demo. I had never seen a PAL demo disc of MGS1 except for the European pilot disk and the UK Playstation Mag demo. I paid a small £8 BP or $16 U.S. The auction was a buy it now auction for a "Metal Gear Solid Promo Demo Disc", nothing else in the description. So I purchased it after taking the advice from my friend from DeadcellHQ.net and when I finally received it, I was puzzled. I had never seen it before, years of collecting, never laid eyes on this. It comes in a slim case, it's original case and on the disc, it's titled MetalGear Solid and that's it. When I contacted my friend Matt at DeadcellHQ.net, he told me it was a rare pilot disc! Up until this point, I've only been familiar with the Japanese and European pilot disc and the U.S. version demo disc. This is probably my rarest piece at this point, it's either this or my Metal Gear Solid E3 Trailer B-Roll Tape. Pretty sweet find, I appreciate the help I got and I'm very, very grateful for owning this. Here are the pics.

Buyer Beware-August 8, 2007- Hello everybody along with the new "Collector's Section", whenever I encounter a problem with Ebay or a Ebay Seller, etc, I will report here as a "Buyer Beware" article. These articles are here to warn people, to help out other Ebayers to be careful with certain sellers. On with the report.

-On June 27th, I purchased a Metal Gear Solid 2 Bullet Invitation and Metal Gear Solid 3 E3 Lighter. I paid around £35 BP or $70 US. I was so excited to receive these in the mail. I waited, waited, waited and nothing, to this date nothing. Weeks ago, I sent an email to the seller, not complaining but kindly asking if he or she sent out my items. The seller replied and said that they sent them out and that some of their stuff had gone missing in the UK. The seller also told me they would "track" it for me. Well, I waited another week and asked the seller if they traced it, it went unreplied. I hadn't heard from the seller to this date. I went to check the seller's feedback and around the same time I purchased my items, two other sellers complained about unreceived items. I emailed one of them who has purchased a set of Metal Gear Solid Dog Tags. I will not include the buyer's name for privacy, but the buyer paid and had not received anything, the buyer too issued a dispute against the seller. So I decided to file a claim and then escalated it to a dispute to get my money back. I still have a few days before my dispute ends and if the seller doesn't reply in time, I will get my money back. We both hope this is the case, that both of us gets our money back. The buyer I emailed quoted "I hope we both get our money back if not there will be a war on!!", couldn't be more right! So in the midst of all this, hopefully, our money will be returned and our cases will be justified. The other complaints have clearly proven that this was not an isolated incident, it didn't happen once, not twice but three times!

August 3, 2007- Hello again, as I said, I would obtain a picture of the game shop in my town that had that weird logo or name. Remember this store is not endorsed by Gamestop, it used to be called Game Champ. Now it's Stop Game!? Here it is-

August 2, 2007- Good morning everybody, I present to you a new section of news. This news is intended for my collection or just Metal Gear collections in general. I will put up anything new I acquired right here, so now on the home page, we have Site News, Metal Gear News and now Collector's News. Alright onto the goods. Two days ago, I stopped by a local game store right in town. Now, whenever I pass by there, I can't help but laugh. Now, they are not endorsed by Gamestop, it is it's own store. I can't even pronounce the name correctly, the logo has a stop sign then it says game!? It used to be called Game Champ but I don't even know the name anymore, I'll try to get a picture of the store. Anyway, I went in and obtained a PiranhaPad Playstation controller with a Metal Gear Solid demo inside. Now, of course, the idiot that sold it to the store took the demo out but I still bought it. It was $15 even though the bottom of the box is in horrible condition. I though it would be an interesting piece considering I've never seen this before. If anyone out there knows about this or actually has the demo for this, please for the love of god, contact me. Here is the picture-
