Wow, this coming Friday will be a year. I know new families run across this and I wanted to update to let everyone know how well our son is doing. He is growing so fast and is more beautiful everyday. We just got back from the beach last week and he had such a great time. He knows airplane, sand, beach. Once we got home, he woke up everyday and would say " Beach",
He is almost 2 and will be having a barney party in a few weeks.
Here is a updated picture.

I decided to post and let everyone know we are doing great. Counselor is into everything and learning more and more everyday.
He is such a good baby. He sleeps all night and plays well. It is like he always has been here. My house is a baby playhouse now!!!!
My friends Holly and Robin are home now with there sons.
I still Thank God everyday for the blessing he gave Darren and I.
We made it. Our journey is over and our son is finally home where all his dreams will come true. We flew 2 long 10 hour flights with a 5 hour layover in Germany. The flights were very hard and more like a job than anything. It was so nice to hit the runway and see the USA. Tears flowed down our faces as we thanked god for his blessing. We were greeted by friends and family and came home to Darren's parents and a beautiful new nursey that a friend fixed. We also had blue ribbons, flowers and balloons all over from other friends!!!
It was wonderful to see everyone lay eyes on him for the first time. We all our getting adjusted to the time difference and eating everything in sight.
We want to close this adoption with one last verse that we prayed many times before leaving for Kaz and many more times while there. It was a journey of a lifetime from the start to finish and it was a blessing to watch God's plan unfold before our very own eyes. Thank you again to all that prayed, cried and helped get us there.
" Only be careful and watch yourselves closely so that you do not forget the things your eyes have seen or let them slip from your heart as long as you live. Teach them to your children and to their children after them" Deut. 4:9
