IOSEF STALIN 3 TYZHELI TANK-Late War
|
Evening readers and welcome to my humble page, dedicated to creatings rules and briefings for experimental (speculative) tanks out their like the maus and centurian;which those lads at battlefront just won't do cause its unhistorical. For those who have no idea what Im talking about,Im talking about the WW2 minatures game Flames of War.Anyway, this sites aim is to give the public what it wants and add some exotic flavour to the tanks of flames of war.Now lets start with the massively masculent yet stylish IS-3......
NEW:The 9th briefing and 10th briefing has just been made.....Yes the Tortoise Super Heavy Tank and IS-1 has just been completed. And guess what, the E-100 super heavy tank might be next.If you have'nt yet check out the other briefings, like the centurian,SMK and the T-100,go have a gander through the collection.
Their is also an all new battle report for you guys and an army lists/picture section is under construstion.

Name Points Mobility Front Side Top
IS-3 370 tracked 15 11 2
Equipment and notes
Long (cold war) 122mm gun, Optional anti-aircraft HMG (+5 points), CoAx/Hull MG, Rear MG, Slow tank, Unreliable.
Weapon Range ROT AT FP Notes
Long 122mm gun 48’’ 1 16 2+ Smoke
HMG 16’’ 3 3 6 Anti-Aircraft
MG 16’’ 3 2 6 ROT 1 when other weapons fire
Due to the rarity of the IS-3 and its speculative nature, you are only allowed ONE tank per army. The IS-3 counts as a whole heavy tankovaya company.
Special Rules:
Slow tank: The IS-3 is a heavy tank and therefore is quite slow. It moves 8’’ over road and
Cross-country terrain.
Unreliable: Because the IS-3 is very new, it is very unreliable. If the IS-3 moves at the double, you roll a die, and if you roll 1 the tank bogs down and doesn’t move.
Anti-Aircraft: The HMG is able to fire at aircraft
Smoke: Because the long 122mm gun has smoke ammo, it is able to fire a smoke screen alternatively.

T-44 130 tracked 10 7 1
Equipment and notes
100mm gun, optional anti-aircraft HMG (+5 points), CoAx/hull MG, Slow tank, Unreliable, Wide Tracks.
Weapon Range ROT AT FP Notes
100mm 40’’ 1 16 3+
HMG 16’’ 3 3 6 Anti-Aircraft
MG 16’’ 3 2 6 ROT 1 when other weapons fire
Due to the rarity and speculative nature of the T-44, you are only allowed TWO tanks per army. The 2 tanks count as a whole medium tankovaya company.
Special Rules:
Slow Tank: Due to the heavy 100mm gun, the T-44 is slowed down during battle. The T-44 moves 8’’ across road and cross-country terrain.
Unreliable: Because the T-44 was such a new tank, it was quite unreliable. When the T-44 moves at the double, you roll a die. If you roll a 1, the T-44 becomes bogged down and doesn’t move.
Wide Tracks: Like its earlier counterpart, the T-34, the T-44 was very mobile. If the unreliable rule does take effect and the tank does bog down, roll a die, and on a roll of 4+ it immediately frees itself.
Anti-Aircraft: The HMG can fire at aircraft.

T-100 TYZHELI LAND BATTLESHIP-Early War

Name Points Mobility Front Side Top
T-100 190 tracked 6 5 2
Equipment and notes
76mm howitzer, 45mm gun, 4 MG’s, CoAx MG, Rear MG, Unreliable, Slow tank, Land battleship.
Weapon Range ROF AT FP Notes
76mm howitzer 24'' 2 7 3+ Ammunition shortage
45mm gun 24'' 2 7 4+
MG 16'' 3 2 6 ROF 1 when other weapons fire
Because the T-100 only saw combat twice, you can only have ONE tank per army. The T-100 counts as a whole heavy tankovaya company.
Special Rules:
Unreliable: Like most new soviet tanks of the time, the T-100 was unreliable. When the T-100 moves at the double roll a die. If you roll a 1, the tank bogs down and doesn’t move.
Slow Tank: Because of the sheer 58 tons the T-100 was carrying, it was very slow. The T-100 moves 8’’ across road and cross-country terrain.
Land Battleship: If both the 76mm and the 45mm fire, their firepower becomes 1+. Each turret can engage a different target.
Ammunition Shortage: When using the 76mm, this rule applies. If you fail the test for hitting a tank, and you roll a 1 when you fail, you roll again. If you don’t get 4+ the gun runs out of ammunition and cannot shoot. If a tank has no ammunition, they may ram enemy tanks.
