Field Trip to Strathmore Music Hall

Our field trip to Strathmore Music Hall is on Tuesday, November 18. The students will be introduced to various string, brass, woodwinds, and percussion instruments. The will hear a concert by National Philharmonic Orchestra. The students will have an opportunity to sing along to one of the scores played by the orchestra!

**The students do not have to bring a brown bag lunch to school, they will have an opportunity to purchase lunch as usual.

Character Counts

Oakland Terrace will have a Character Counts assembly on Monday, November 17. Our class will attend the assembly at 9:30, and will represent the character of "Respect." The character of "Respect" is represented by the color yellow. Please send your child to school on Monday wearing a yellow shirt.
