About Us

WELCOME TO

OTMOOR WI

Reformed in 1977 Otmoor WI meets in the village of Charlton-on-Otmoor and also draws members from Oddington, Fencott, Murcott and Ambrosden. We are a happy mix of women across the generations - some born in the area and some 'newcomers' - together forming a small and lively group.

We usually meet in Charlton-on-Otmoor Community Hall on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7.45 pm. Times and venues vary so please check the Programme or contact us for further details.  Contact details are given on Useful Links.

We enjoy a variety of activities as can be seen from our Programme and have some talented members. In 2008 two of our members won a national WI cookery competition - see the News page for more details of this presigious win. We have a number of talented cooks and indeed it's their expertise that keeps our funds afloat!

Our members offer a variety of skills in the crafting arena - card making, felt making, painting, sewing, textiles, rag rugs, silversmithing, glasswork - to name but a few.

Other members have language skills and interests in history, literature and travel that serves to make our group a very rounded mix.
