Another OTMAA Website!

Welcome!

This is another of the many sites about the children of Nicholas and Alexandra Romanov, the last rulers of Russia. Nicholas and Alexandra were married in 1894, and accepted the crown in 1896. The crown was lost when Nicholas abdicated in 1917. The Romanovs lived in many palaces. The one they lived in for most of the year was the Alexander Palace in the small town of Tsarskoe Selo, just miles away from St. Petersburg. But the one they enjoyed most was Livadia, built in the Crimea(a new palace was built in 1911). They spent Easters there, and sometimes went back in the fall. They would sometimes stay in Peterhof, close to St. Petersburg, but it was much too formal for their liking. Up until 1912, they would stay at Spala, Nicholas's hunting lodge in Poland, but when Alexandra almost lost her son there, N&A were in no hurry to go back. Now that we have the background finished, why don't we give OTMAA (Olga, Tatiana, Maria, Anastasia, Aleksey) a visit?
