Currently, she is pursuing her MFA in Producing & Theatre
Management from Columbia University and working as an Associate
Producer with The Civilians. She has
worked as both a stage manager and director and combines both skill
sets in her current role as producer.
As Producing Manager of the Ensemble Studio Theatre she helmed
OCTOBERFEST, PROJECT 35, RIDDLELIKELOVE (WITH A SIDE OF KETCHUP) by
Julie Fitzpatrick and Douglas Anderson, SERENDIB By David Zellnik,
and the 2007 MARATHON OF ONE-ACT PLAYS. Other Producing Credits include THE
HOME FOR LOST BOYS, GET BENT! - A GENDER-BENDER CABARET, and HAPPY XXXMAS - HAPPY F-ING HOLIDAYS all for the
Ostara Group and THE
REVENGER'S TRAGEDY (Assoc. Producer) for Red Bull Theatre Company.

Drama Alumni Clan .
EVAN O'BRIENTCo-Producing DirectorEvan
has been designing lighting and scenery for productions in New
York and regionally since graduating from Carnegie Mellon with a BFA in
design. Currently, Evan is an Assistant Lighting Designer at
Glimmerglass Opera as well as an Associate Designer at Arc3
Design. In the spring, Evan will go on a world tour with Alvin
Ailey American Dance Company as their Assistant Lighting
Director. Recent productions include: Rough Crossing, Sucker Fish
Messiah, The Barber of Seville, The Revenger's Tragedy, Busted Jesus
Comix, The Home for Lost Boys, and Watbanaland. He was along on
Ostara's maiden voyage in 2005 as both the lighting designer and
co-producer with Renee Blinkwolt. Evan worked for New York
City Opera as an assistant lighting director for two years.
Armesto is Associate Artistic Director at Ensemble Studio
Theatre. His most recent directing credits include SERENDIB by David
Zellnik, THE BUS TO BUENOS
AIRES by Curtis Moore and Thomas Mizer both at EST and ONNA FIELD with
Diverse City Theatre at Theatre Row.
Current projects include ARIEL SHARON STANDS AT THE TEMPLE MOUNT AND
DREAMS OF THEODOR HERZL by David Zellnik. Other
credits include TRIANGLE by Curtis Moore, Thomas Mizer and Joshua
Scher, THE GIMMICK by Dael Orlandersmith and STUPID KIDS by John C.
Russell all at Williamstown Theatre Festival; Romulus Linney's THE
UNWRITTEN SONG at the EST 2005 Marathon One-Act Festival; ANIMAL FARM
and SPUNK at Carnegie Mellon School of Drama; and A LITTLE CLASS and
BIG MISTAKE at Long Wharf Theatre. Mr. Armesto also served as Artistic
Associate at the Pittsburgh International Festival of Firsts. He holds
an M.F.A. in directing from Carnegie Mellon School of Drama and B.S.
degrees in theater arts and chemical engineering from the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology. He is the recipient of the Bill Foeller
Fellowship for Directors, the Stephen Bochco Drama Scholarship, and the
2005 Princess Grace Award.
