What's in store for 2009

June 29th york raked and seeded 100yd

The pavilion and 100yd area will be off limits until the

newly planted grass takes hold.

A shooting bench and target frames will be placed

to the right side of the range for member use until the

new area is reopened.

New target stands and bases will be constructed for use on the 100yd.range in the future.

The procedure will be:

-Remove stands and bases from the storage shed

-Place at any distance you wish, but inline with your bench and the100yd. backstop

-Do not place stands in the line of fire of each other

-Remove stands and bases from the range and place back in shed

We may come up with a permanent base system down the road but this is the layout for now.

Top OSC Rifle Shooter

My intention of having this award was to give an extra bit of thanks
and reconition to the member who not only supports our program
by attending scheduled shoots helps but also devotes their time and efforts.

Top Rifle Shooter of 2008 is:  Junior Member John W.

John was my right hand man for the last few years, helping me all hours of the day,

at the rifle range. Oh, I had to drag him grugingly along sometimes, to work and at shoots,

but as you can see in the photo gallery, he was always there. Thanks!

Welcome to OSCs Rifle Chairmans page!!!

Congratulations to junior member John W.
for earning 1st place trophies in both the
Archery and Rifle events at Camp Cadet.
John was the first cadet in camp history
to shoot a perfect score of 250 in rifle.

It's a darn shame
not to have archery activities at this club.
