So says Yoda. Was he referring to the 60 steps of folding an origami pattern to create this image of his handsome self? I'm not so sure.
I was surprised that I could follow the directions until step 24, then things got a little hairy for me. Bear in mind, I'm a beginner. If you're not and you're a Star Wars fan, you may want to make your own Yoda.
Here's how he looks all in brown. The instructions come from the creator, Fumiaki Kawahata. Sweet.
In looking around the web, I found the picture below of Yoda with Kawahata's name as the creator. Looks like an earlier version. Fascinating to see his growth, eh?
There's no origami
pattern for the earlier Yoda at the site where I found the picture, but
there are other Star Wars foldings. I like this Yoda mask on the site by Takashi Matsuo, but there's no pattern for it.
If you want to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Star Wars, go make a Yoda finger puppet or one of many other Star Wars origami patterns.
