There are people making amazing things, like this woman Christine Edison who creates origami art. Here's her blog full of what she's working on now. Here's a buttressed box she designed and you can make it out of a brown paper bag if you have some skills.
I'm new to this craft and can't wait to get started folding paper. I'm a sucker for origami boxes and cats. See them makes me smile, but I figure they're beyond me right now, so for my first project I'm making a CD pouch. Here's the origami pattern for it. Use that link if you want to try it along with me. In my next post I'll show you photos of me making it. It'll be my first effort at following any origami patterns.
