Thank you for visiting the Order of the Holy Rose!
We are very blessed by your presence and interest in the deeper mysteries of the Catholic faith, which we explore and deepen through the contemplative arts.
We dedicate our service to the return and manifestation of the heavenly kingdom on earth through the spirit of love of our Lord and King Jesus Christ. We devote ourselves to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to His Holy Eucharist and we spread His living word with all the gifts and in all the ways God has bestowed upon us.
We are all called to lead a holy life through our own example and love our neighbours as ourselves. If we transform all evil, harm and anxiety into love the kingdom will come alive, first in ourselves and through serving God and our neighbours selflessly also through us.
We serve our local and worldwide virtual community, and our service is open to anyone.
We are a canonised Anglican-Catholic Order affiliated with Bishop Ralph Napierski in union with the Roman Catholic church and we are open to lay-members and to clergy alike. We are part of the Anglican-Catholic Church as a branch of the one holy Catholic and apostolic body of Our Lord and King and Saviour Jesus Christ. We are following the Anglo-Catholic tradition but are also open to members of all other catholic and apostolic churches. In the light of the votes for women bishops at the recent General Synod we clearly state here that we are faithful to the apostolic succession and therefore we do not recognise any women priests or bishops. Thanks to our affiliation with Bishop Ralph Napierski we are in the apostolic succession and in union with Rome and can worship in our treasured Anglican-Catholic tradition without compromise to the original holy sacraments in the way they have been handed down to us by Jesus Himself through His bishops. We support Pope Benedict XVI. wholeheartedly.
Anyone can join us, whether married or single or divorced, who live their lives like others of their profession, but who privately take up practices of austerity, recite some liturgical Office, and wear some symbol of their devotion. We also invite parents and carers to join with their children, who are part of our young members group, the ROSEBUDS, to make faith from an early age a beautiful living reality.
Everyone is welcome to join us in prayer, chanting and online as member of our community and students of our academy. Our spiritual care is open to those of any religious belief or none. We explore new and old ways on Christ's path of love in our own contemplative arts school, the Marian Arts School, by living in the mystical tradition and by being a living body in the one holy catholic and apostolic church.
We have an ordained Mother Superior, and hold regular meetings. Membership is free but we do encourage our members to pay tithe to their local church.
There are three basic levels of membership:
* Outer circle: Members who join the circle like a "club" like on myspace, facebook and other online communities of the OHR and who help and take part in some projects.
* Middle circle: Members, who join the circle for a special time period.
* Inner circle: Members, who dedicated their life to the order.
You are warmly invited to contact us for any healing and prayer requests for yourself or a friend or loved one, or when you need personal spiritual guidance in times of distress and bereavement. We can bring you in touch with an Anglo-Catholic/Catholic priest and spiritual director, and add you to our prayer list.
The cross and sacrifice of our Lord and King Jesus Christ is our sole focus. We walk on His path of love and understanding and forgiveness and try to lead by example to live His holy word. We are also devoted to the Marys, to the Virgin Mary, the Mother of God; to Mary Magdala, the woman, who loved Him, was forgiven by Him, and was devoted to Him, and led by example about the power of repentance and penance. And we draw strength and grace and inspiration from their faith, hope and love, and that of many other saints like St. Hildegard of Bingen, St Elizabeth of Hungary, St Gertrud, St Therese of Lisieux, St Teresa of Avila, St. Catherine of Siena, St. Joan of Arc, St. Francis, St. Benedict, St. John the Baptist and other holy souls.
We are also here to serve you and to provide for your spiritual nourishment through:

* devotion to the Eucharistic Heart
* daily bible readings and reflections
* matching you with an Anglo-Catholic or Roman-Catholic spiritual director/church in your area, wherever you live

* free voice, reading and singing workshops and talks for clergy and parishes

Anyone can join us, whether you are of the faith or are on your spiritual journey.
Anyone can also join our order, who
1. believes and has accepted the gift of the truth that Jesus Christ has incarnated as a human being, begotten, not made, and has died for the sins of the world, and that those, who accept this calling will have eternal life;
2. believes in the resurrection of Jesus Christ;
3. accepts Jesus Christ as their Saviour and Lord and King;
4. accepts their individual calling to help build the kingdom of God on this earth.
We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church and support Pope Benedict XVI. We pray for the Bishops of London, Fulham and all in the diocese of London and the rest of the Anglican and catholic world.
We strongly encourage Christian dialogue with other faiths, and urge mankind to seek only love and peace with our neighbours.
May the Infinite Light of our Lord and King Jesus Christ shine brightly upon you, keep and protect you from all harm, evil and anxiety and fill your very heart and soul always with His love and peace!

Constitution of the New Heavenly Kingdom on Earth
The Lord is King for ever and ever.
As are the days of man's life on earth, so is the hope set upon Him.
For the might of our God is for ever with mercy,
And the kingdom of our God is over the nations with judgment.
The seed of the King will now come from heaven to earth.
And He is gathering together a holy people,
Whom He will lead in righteousness.
And He will judge the tribes of the people and He will
not suffer unrighteousness to lodge any more in our midst.
Nor will there dwell with us any man that knoweth wickedness.
For He knows us, who are all sons and daughters of their God;
And He will divide us according to our tribes
upon the land.
And neither sojourner nor alien will sojourn us anymore.
He will judge peoples and nations in the wisdom of righteousness
and love.
He will have the heathen nations to serve God and share His yoke of love;
And He will glorify God in a place to be seen of all the earth in each and every
holy temple that is dedicated to God's honour and glory.
And He will purge the heavenly Jerusalem making it thus holy in our souls again.
So that the nations dwell on the earth but spend their citizenship in heaven.
And He will be a righteous King, taught by God, over us.
And there will be no unrighteousness in His days in our midst.
For all shall be holy, and our King is the Lord's Anointed.
Blessed be those that are to receive Him in their hearts.
In that we will see the good fortune of the twelve tribes of Israel in the
gathering of the tribes.
All holy souls must take their responsibilities and fulfill their calling with all
their gifts and skills that are bestowed upon us by the Holy Spirit and that
are the holy purpose of our souls.
Every holy soul will dwell in love on earth and take part in all things like a citizen
of an earthly nation; and will have no longer to suffer but will live in grace and humility,
as we fight evil in the spirit of love and righteousness.
Every foreign land will be a homeland to the citizens of the heavenly kingdom,
and every homeland a foreign country.
Like all men we will marry and have children, but we will not, like unholy souls,
abandon our children.
We will meet at a shared family table but we will have only one wife/husband and no concubines/lovers.
We will spend our time on earth but our citizenship is in heaven serving God.
We will obey the established laws, and in our own lives go beyond the laws in the way
of love and understanding with the wisdom of the Holy Spirit.
We love mankind and we give freely to the community of the holy souls. Thus we will
have eternal life.
We are poor, and yet we will enrich many beyond their wildest dreams in heavenly gifts.
We will be in want of all holy things, and will have plenty of all that we will share amongst all.
We will no longer be slandered and dishonoured but will bless.
We will no longer be insulted but show love and pay respect to our neighbour.
When we do good, we will no longer be punished like evildoers but rejoice as we are
entering into our holy life.
What the soul is in the body, the new heavenly kingdom is to the earthly world.
The soul is spread through all parts of the body, and the new kingdom through all the cities of the world.
The soul dwells in the body; the heavenly kingdom dwells in the world but is not of this world.
The soul is imprisoned in the body but itself holds the body together.
The heavenly kingdom is no longer shut up in the world as in a prison or cave,
and it holds the world together.
The soul, itself immortal, lives in a mortal body; the heavenly kingdom lives among perishable things, awaiting immortality in heaven. The soul grows better, when it is
disciplined in all aspects, and so does the heavenly kingdom flourish under discipline and
challenge day by day.
Such is the constitution of love for the new heavenly kingdom on earth, that Abba,
Our Heavenly Father, has assigned us.
May we not refuse it and live by it to see into the sparkling eyes of the Infinite Light of God in each and everyone of us.

The Inner Journey

Sunday at three
On the third Sunday we gather for a shared meal, for common prayer in various forms, for informal talks and a rereading and discussion of the bible readings.

Become a leader in the tradition of the disciples, and champion of humanity for Our Lord and King in your community to spread the word. We provide you with free training for presentation skills, voice, and communication, and basics for handling PR and funding.
Women�s Breakfast
Nothing better than a good chat and exchange at breakfast. Most mornings in East London. Start a breakfast group in your area and get our support in how to do it.
Breastfeeding Support Group
We meet up weekly with informal chats, talks, topics and occasional trips to the museum to have a look at historic and religious paintings portraying breastfeeding.
