The Band... |
Caspian Romantic was formed by members Travis Howard and Johnathan Tracy nearly eight months ago. They began writing music in Travis' basement, and Andrew Lyons came in to finish the mix. The guys have since then released a 3 track demo and are currently working on a new EP. One Point Victory shows how despite their recent formation the band is ready to dive headfirst into the industry with their catchy, heartbreaking lyrics and melodic rythm. |

 Well I don't really know what to tell you people about me. I'm 19 years old (yes really), 5'10'', 135lbs, brown hair, and hazel eyes (skinny's in...right andrew.) I've been playing guitar for about 3 years now. I had always wanted to play the guitar so when i had just enough money I went and got my Squire and just started practicing all I could. Travis and I met in the last place I myself and you would think, Youth Life. We got in trouble a lot that night and made a lot of people aggrivated. Other than that, I have a wonderful girlfriend Alisha and a really stupid dog. If I've forgotten anything tell me so i can put it up here. |

 Hello ladies and gents... My name is Andrew James Lyons (or Andy for short if you cared to know) and I play music for this band called One Point Victory... I am 18 years old as of 10/5/2003 and I play the drums... i have been playing for just about 7 years... One of thousands of claims of fame is the fact that i look like HARRY POTTER... YES YOU HEARD ME!!! I LOOK LIKE HARRY POTTER!!! SO DROP IT ALREADY!!! and yes when you put a "d" in front of my name it spells "d"andy lyons... i am out of school and waiting for the rest of the band to move to Florida so i can start college... Well that is my exciting life story... THAT WAS SO EMO!!! |

 Hey, yes...My name is travis michael howard. I sing and play the guitar for this One Point Victory. I am also responsible for writing all of One Point Victory's music and lyrics...you can decide if thats good or bad... I constantly loose picks and I dont have batteries for my wireless...about 62% of our shows, which makes me look like the biggest loser in the band...Equipment: I play a Fender Strat (like everyone else), with a Peavy head...that is always broken...and 4-12" half stack. Favorite bands: The Early November, Matchbook Romance, Dashboard Confessional, Taking Back Sunday, Something Corporate, Thursday, Finch, The Starting Line, Senses Fail... Favorite place: Ocoee and Cocoa Beach, FL... Favorite movie: A Walk to Remember(I think only one person knows why) |

On the Search for a Bassist... |
We are currently looking for a bassist. Experience in a band is necessary. If you play bass and would like to audition for One Point Victory please contact us. We are looking for the person with the style, stage presense and if possible age that will fill the position best.
-Style - a mix of emo/alternative/punk i.e.- The Early November, Matchbook Romance, Taking Back Sunday, Senses Fail, The Starting Line
-Stage Presense - a person who can rock out, but is not a total embarassment. We are looking for a musician with a professional appearance, and a humble attitude.
- age is not as large of an issue but we are looking for a person between the ages of 16 and 22 if at all possible. |
