The RADIANT Sisters of OMEGA PHI BETA Sorority, Inc's EPSILON CHAPTER | SOLEIL!

Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.

Epsilon Chapter
Est. 1993

Epsilon Chapter was founded on December 11, 1993. It was the first Chapter of Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated to be located in the Long Island region in New York. Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was the first Latina oriented sorority to be established here at C.W. Post Campus, Long Island University. Although the population on campus was becoming dramatically more diverse, before the fall of 1993,  and even though there were other organizations, none met the criteria four extraordinary women were in search of.  Minority women didn't have a voice on campus and they needed to take action and they did by helping to establish an organization that gave the women on campus not only strength and a voice but an exemplary example of sisterhood.
Over the years, Epsilon Chapter has organized numerous of events in order to raise Cancer and Domestic Violence awareness. It hosts an annual Cancer Awareness Banquet, co-sponsors the Breast Cancer Awareness Walk and hosts various other events  throughtout the year. In 2004 we also became partners  in the Domestic Violence Walk/Run. In 2005, Epsilon Chapter helped raise money for the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
For over 14 years, we have successfully crossed 46 ambitious women into this beautiful Radiant sisterhood and have succeeded in many ways. All of these women have broken barriers and there is nothing that a BETA woman cannot endure. There are no limits and there aren't signs of us slowing down.
