Spawn 01

Father	Mother

Small spawn, male is an egg eater.

Update Oct 4: Fry are doing really well. There are only about 18 of them. So far they all have a shinny white body like the fathers, some are starting to get red on the fins.

Update Oct 18: Fry doing great. So far about half have the shinny white body as the father, and the other half are flesh coloured bodied like the mother. All are gettting red fins now.

Update Nov 12: Some of the bigger guys have begun to eat the smaller ones  So I've had to start seperating them. So far the majority are looking like the father, white body and red fins.

Spawn 02

Siblings from the Cambo spawn listed under 2008 spawns below.

Really terrible pics of the parents, but neither will stand still long enough to get good ones. Male has a really nice HM spread, female has nice even lobes.

Very small spawn, only 13 fry hatched out. It was a first spawn for both of them so its possible the eggs didn't fertilize properly.

Update Oct 4: There are several DTs in the spawn! Doing well and growing good

Update Oct 18: Growing really well. They look blueish for some reason?? I'm pretty confused about that! This line has never had any blue in it, so it will be interesting to see what happens!

Update Nov 12: Doing good. Growing a little slow lately, will have to up the water changes. So far the DTs look like they will have nice even lobes.

Spawn 03

Father	Mother

This male ate the first spawn. The second time around I caught him eating them again so I pulled him out. Eggs should be hatching shortly!

Update Oct 18: About 40 fry hatched out. They ended up getting velvet a few days later, I treated them and now they are fine. Lost a few. Iam not too happy with this spawn, the fry just dont seem to be growing and seem weak. I am going to respawn this pair again.

Update Nov 12: All the weakies have died off, and Im left with 6 fry. The remaining fry are doing really well and are growing like weeds.

Update: 4 fry left. 3 are redish in colour and 1 silver.

Decent sized spawn. Unfortunatly I got really busy and got behind on feeding, so there was a bit of a die off. Still a good number left tho.

Update: fry continued to die off for some reason, not sure why. Left with 5 fry, 2 dark bodied and 3 light bodied.

This is the same male from spawn 03. Again he decided to eat the eggs so I pulled him out. There are approx 40 fry, all are doing well and growing good.

Last time I tried this pair she beat the crap out of him. This time things went fine.
Not many fry. Most are marble.
