PiercedPixie2's story (nickname)
I met him on Gaia Online (a site) actually and he soon turned into my best friend. I told him anything and everything, things my real life friends judged me on, he just listened. When I developed feelings, and he developed feelings..it was like 'But I only know him online, how can we POSSIBLY have feelings!' I was amazed it really happened on the Internet! It wasn't long after we established we cared before I had to plan a visit, to make it real, to know HE was real. So after another 5 long months, i was able to visit him in his home of England, from my home in Georgia.
I was so scared, I told him what time my plane flew in probably a dozen times x3 I was so scared, I was flying 6,000 miles to meet someone I met on Gaia, when I rarely felt comfortable leaving my city! But I didn't say turn the plane around, I didn't hide in the bathroom, and I thank God daily for that. When we met, it was like the connection felt 10x more real, it was amazing. I just started to cry when I first saw him, it was cliche: In that crowded waiting room my eyes instantly found him, and he me...
That was my first visit in February, I went back in May and he is coming to America for Christmas, we plan to get married and hope he can relocate here in 2009. Even though its been a long hard road, and I know we have difficulties to over come.. I wouldn't change it for the world, I wouldn't change my other half for anything, because i feel he is the one, he was made for me. And all I have to do is be without him a little longer :3
