Your Horses are judged on Presentation, conformation and the overall picture, the Judge can only judge what they see in the photo that you submit, and all horses will be judged as such.

Each horse MUST fit the criterea of their "chosen" class;

You can enter your horse/s in as many Classes that they are eligable for;

Each exhibitor is only allowed to enter a maximum of four (4) horses each per show, except youth who are allowed 1 horse;

Proof of horses age must be available upon request ie; service certificate or registration certificate;

Because this show is for all horses, and not just registered horses, some owners may not have a service or registration certificate, if there is a discrepency & you are requested to provide proof of age and do not have either of these certificates please contact "Website Manager" immediately, via the email address provided below.

Each entry must be received On or Before the closing date, if it is not received by then, it will be held until the next show;

Each horse MUST BE ENTERED SEPERATELY! i.e if you are entering 4 horses, you should be sending me 4 emails;

NB: AN 'ENTRY TEPMLATE' IS AVAILABLE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE RULES SECTION, THIS ALLOWS YOU TO COPY & PASTE IT INTO YOUR EMAIL/S.

All photos (entries) will be posted on the site for 1 week after the entry closing date; (as not everyone can check into the internet regularly)

Judging of all classes will commence on the specified SHOW date;

A final 6 horses will be chosen to represent each particular class;

All other entries will then be removed from the site, leaving the top 6 to represent each of their classes;

Photos of the Top 6 will then be posted on the site for 1 week;

The Judge will commence the final "judging" of the top 6 on the 'Show Day', however results won't be posted until 1 week after the Judging has been finalised. This is so that the website can be updated accordingly.

Judges decision is FINAL;

And is only that particular persons opinion on the day, I will try my utmost to have a different Judge for each Show;

There is NO complaints board & or Fee, if you feel that there is a discrepency please contact management immediately.

Two (2) photos of each entrant are required;

1 Nearside & 1 Offside

The horse MUST be standing square, be clean and well presented as they would be at any Show;

Professional photos are allowed, & this fact will be taken into consideration when being judged;
Sending Professional photos does not guarantee you will win over non professional photos;

A photo taken at Home, like the one of my filly below, is a great example of WHAT TO SEND.

WHAT NOT TO SEND;

Photos of your horse/s not presented properly i.e. dirty horse, horse not standing square, paddock photos etc;
Photos of your horse/s with any tack on, other than a Halter;
Photos of your horse/s being Ridden;

Photos like the one's of my gelding below, are great examples of WHAT NOT TO SEND.

Failure to properly present your horse in the Photos, or sending photos that fall under WHAT NOT TO SEND category, will result in Rejection of Entry.

You will be notified if your photos are rejected.
You will be required to send "New" photos if you still wish to enter.
A rejection of entry should not be taken as a personal attack, it is with regards to the photo/s you have submitted and it ends there. If you feel that you may be offended if your photo's are rejected then please ensure you strictly adhere to the Photo Requirements first time round. Thankyou.

Photos can be the original "negative" photos, & photos from SD cards and digital camera's will be accepted, all photos will remain property of the Paint N Pinto Horse Show;

ALL PHOTOS MUST BE ORIGINALS

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANY CROPPED IMAGES

Any photos needing "cropping" to reduce the overall photo size will be cropped by Management/Organiser. NO photos will be "touched, air brushed or changed in any way" other than to be cropped if necessary.

Right Click has been disabled on ALL pages to try & help prevent Photo collectors from stealing, however unfortunately there is no guarantee.

A self addressed stamped envelope will ensure the return of your photos if you so wish to post them;

If you are going to be a regular Show entrant, photos can be re-used throughout the year, the following year will require New photos. However if you wish to "Up-date" your photos for each show (especially for the younger horses) you may submit new photos for every show.

DO NOT FRET ABOUT THE PHOTO GUIDELINES. SHOW SEASON IS'NT FAR AWAY, JUST REMEMBER TO TAKE YOU CAMERA WITH YOU, THIS WAY YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT "PREPING" YOUR HORSE ESPECIALLY FOR PHOTOS, HOWEVER THIS IS NOT DISCOURAGED. HAVE FUN....

Entry fees are FREE FOR THE FIRST SHOW & thereafter $? per horse, per class;

Entry fees are FREE FOR THE FIRST SHOW & thereafter for Youth is $? per class (Youth is 14 yrs & under, limited to 1 horse per youth);

Payment must be made and received On or Before the closing date for your horse/s to be entered for each Show;

Money Order, Direct Deposit & PayPal are acceptable payment methods.

NOTE: If you have friends that do not have the internet they are still VERY Welcome to enter, just print out all the details from this page and pass it on to them, they can send in their entries via Aus Post.

Tip For Economical Printing: Open a Word Document, Highlight Wording only from this page (avoid highlighting the animations as they will use a lot of ink) , Copy & Paste to your Word Document, then print it out. Viola, less ink used.

Prizes listed are for the first 2008 show ONLY.

There are Lapels up to 6th place.

There are Rosettes for Champion, Grand Champion, Reserve Champion & Supreme Champions of each class.

There will be a trophy for the People's Choice Supreme Champion.

For the 10.2hh & Under Classes there will be Certificates up to 6th place & Rossettes for the Grand Champions, Reserve Champions & Supreme Champion. There will be an Equine Diary for each Champion & a Ribbon Browband for Supreme Champion.

Sponsorship is encouraged and Welcomed, if you wish to become a sponsor, regular or once off, please email and advise us of your wish to do so.

Becoming a sponsor will give you the oppurtunity to have a Link to your website on this site;
Will have your stud or name mentioned and Thanked on the site and in any Magazine advertising after each Show;
ALL sponsors will receive a trophy at the end of each year.

If you are one of our Lucky Winners, and you have won a Rosette or Trophy, you will be required to either send postage money or a SASE (self addressed stamped envelope). Unfortunately I cannot cover the postage costs as well as the costs of buying the prizes unless there is sufficient Sponsorhip in order to cover these costs.

A 'SASE' in A5 size will be sufficient for the postage of Rosettes
Postage money or a Bubble Post Pack will be sufficient for Trophies (you will be notified of what size is required)
Postage of all Lapels will be covered by myself (Lisa) at this stage

As the developer of this Online Show, I reserve the right to change the following which includes but is not excluded to; rules, conditions, number of horses accepted, number of horses to go into the "final", number of prizes and entry fee's. After a show date has been set, any current rulings will remain as such, after each show any of the rulings, terms & conditions ( as stated herein) may be subject to change. I will be looking to Introduce Prize Money & even better Prizes next time round, which will be why there will be entry fee charges.
