Lord Jester a.k.a. "Smitty"

Nicknamed "Smitty" by me and my fiance this figure was painted up to be used in the Living Arcanis game as my drunken former Coryani Legionnaire, Maricus Dellonov-Marino. The sword was actually missing from the right hand when bought so i removed the axe from his left hand and added a sword. The sword was my first attempt at glassteel and did not come out anywhere near what i wanted. The greens turned out as i hoped but the metallic parts look a bit chunky. The flower on the scabbard is my first attempt at freehand and the gold lettering is actually the High Talislanta script that spells out ONI. Normally i sign the underside of the base but on this figure i could not as the base has magnets glued it so it fits on a large sized monster base for game play. Although it did badly in Frustrated father's Total testosterone contest, receiving a few choice blasting, it never the less took 1st place in the fantasy division at Phoenix Congames 2005.

Duke Gerard, Coryani Legionnaire

Painted for the Living Arcanis game world, as my Coryani Legionnaire before i bought the Lord Jester miniature, this Duke Gerard had his axe removed and replaced by a scratch built gladius. Personally i dislike the wings but used them anyway at the urging of my fiance. Red has been and still is a weakness, as you can see on the cloak. The shield has had a little green stuff work done to try and match it closer to the roman shield i based the freehand design from.

Alexandri

Another figure for my fiance, this time a dwarf for Grayhawk. It's rare to see her play anything but an elf spellcaster so a dwarf fighter was a shock so i had to hunt for the right mini. The face actually came out really nice and the boobs, just pop'n fresh right out of that armor.

Pumpkin Rider

I call her the pumpkin rider, because that pumpkin stem seems to be missing and she has a dirty little smile on her face. This was done for the first Jenova Forum Mini Exchange and was actually the second version i painted for Moviegrrl. For some reason both versions i painted and mailed she never received but i did manage to get a picture of this one, unlike the first version.
