The Beach Clean up(s) held January 21st and  February 18, 2006  at Pepper Park, N.Beach, Ft Pierce, FL were GREAT!   The turnout for both clean ups was over 80 people from around the Treasure Coast communities!!

Many thanks to all of the Teams, groups, students, families and  YOU for being there to  HELP and  "Make a Difference "  for the better of our Florida beaches.  Your support for our outreach to the community about the Oceans, Nature & Environment is  IMPORTANT.  We all want to seea more Healthy World now and pass it on to our Future tommorrow.

The clean up Jan 21st drew IRCC Students from Chemistry and science classes to Volunteer their support.  They were invited back to the 10th annual "Party In The Park" Enviro Festival.  We set up a table there to meet YOU and to celebrate the day with  groups &  people with interest to Conservation and Awareness of a healthy Environment.   The beach clean up held Feb 18th  supported "STEP UP"  St Lucie County to better health and wellness and physical fitness!  That clean up drew many from all communities of St Lucie county and beyond! Lunch of soda, hot dogs & hamburgers was  sponsored by the SLC Parks & Rec!  A wonderful salad was donated by Kim Poole of Ft Pierce and  an awesome  cake that said to "HELP SAVE O.N.E.W.I.l.D.W.O.R.L.D."  was donated by Peggy   of Winn Dixie, Port St Lucie.The raffle  gift basket donated by friends of OWW who favor a clean and healthy beach was won by  John Burke of  Ft Pierce.  John  won gifts of golf from SLWPGAGolf,  PBZoo passes, FL Oceanographic passes, Harbor Branch Assoc. Membership,  Guy Harvey giftware and much more! Over 40 other gifts were  given away in the raffle too! Congrats to all and Thank You for your support of our ONLY O.N.E.W.I.L.D.W.O.R.L.D. (Oceans, Nature and  Environment) and all other Resources natural to "Florida " that make up  Paradise !

This clean up will help support our oceans and coral reefs and the Science Club of IRCC!! This "Dive In" to Earthday 2006 clean up will unite people to enjoy the beach and help make a differnce TOGETHER!
