Welcome to One Day You'll Know, the official website of me, Fanfiction.net author ilovetk, and my pride and joy, my re-write series One Day You'll Know. So... you know. This would be it. I guess it would be best to explain a little bit. One Day You'll Know is an extremely complicated story: love triangles, family drama, teenage love and heartache. Tons of drama, just the way I, and I'm sure many others of you, like it. :) Just a pre-warning, however, that my series isn't for the faint of heart... nor any one under the age of about sixteen. I understand that the actualy Heartland series is aimed at maybe a fifth grade level, but mine definetely is not. Again, just a warning for those of you who don't bother to read the warnings I post on my chapters.
Ok, so... yeah. The Heartland series by Lauren Brooke contains twenty novellas and four special editions, three of which were extremely ill-fated and not the best of Brooke's ideas. The Heartland series by me starts with book 6, One Day You'll Know, in the original series, and continues onto to book twenty. Whether or not it will continue from there with re-writes of the special editions has yet to be decided. I do plan a sequel to the final of the series itself, set a ways off into the future that really has no point in being written, I just felt like it would be nice. :3 Brooke's series has since been transformed into a television series airing in Canada on CBC, on Sundays and seven o' clock. I was an avid fan at first (I mean, come one, Graham Wardle is gorgeous!), but have since lost interest with the introduction of characters like Caleb and Kit that have managed to keep Amy and Ty apart. I doubt my series will ever get published, let alone turned into a show, but, if it ever happens, I can assure you it will not be has unfair as the series airing now. Promise.
In my writing, I go for drama. I am a strict Amy/Ty shipper, as I firmly believe they are the perfect couple, and I think Lauren Brooke was an f-ing idiot to break them up in her series. I'm a fan of the Benjamin Stillman/Soraya Martin pairing, but I am not a huge fan of Matt Trewin. He annoys me; thus, he deserves to be alone. I dunno. But that's my writing style and shipment, pretty much.
Heartland is like a black hole. It sucks you in and you're pretty much never able to get out. Despite how much I hate Brooke's writing style, etc., (She's a horribel author, in my head) and no matter how much I despise characters like Will, Heather, and Alfredo, which I'm pretty sure is a pasta sauce, too, the idea of a guy as perfect as Ty Baldwin and the image of a couple as made for each other as Ty and Amy Fleming has kept me hanging on and focused on writing for Heartland. I hope you enjoy my writing, and the magic of Heartland.
