Herreras Bulldogs

in the early 1600 / 1900 century the bulldog was used for bear hunting ,wild boar hunting ,bull baiting, dog fighting, and also served as guard dogs on farms and homes.  now days they are used for a number of things, search and find, k-9 drug dogs , weight pulling, sports, personal protection, and just all around good family dog. and still to this day many old timers deep in the south have  ( W.E.B. )  WHITE ENGLISH BULLDOGS running around free ( no chains, kennels ) guarding there live stock and homes.

now american bulldogs are really not for the novice, a very high drive bulldog can be more than a hand full for the new owner. inside the house or outside the house, its best you do o.b. training right away, but i`am sure their is some mild american bulldog  out there that  will  meet your standards. please do your home work before you buy!!

just because the breeder say`s he has the best dam bulldogs around don't mean a dam thing! trust me its happen to me a few times, needless to say i had to put those dogs down. so call around and ask questions. make the breeder prove to you in person what he claims his dogs can do. and for some reason he cant i would very much think of buying from someone else.

and when the time is right and you want to buy one of my puppies  ask me what my dogs can do and i will show you what they CAN AND CAN NOT DO.

 i must also say this even though i`ll go to a  bulldog events, my dogs are not just for showing, i will be working my dogs in hog hunting, H.H., bite work, some weight pull training. in a way  or another my dogs were breed as a working dog, not fee-fee the pretty dog. my dogs are still young and have a lot to learn, and with the info of all the people i spoke to already. i should  have an open road of wisdom.  check back soon for my first breeding. and through out the year i will be up dating my site with photos and events. so if you have any further questions please ask,......................................................... john
