Linda started dancing at the age of 3. Her mother enrolled her in the local ballet school and she was hooked!

She continued her ballet classes until the age of 17, finishing in a year of full-time ballet classes, catching 2 trains and one bus to get to Randwick every day. She was spotted by a Russian Cossack Dance group while performing in a pantomime, and from that day on was performing with them  in the Sydney Club Circuit for the next 10years. The "Cossacks" also performed on Cruises and appeared on "Caberet" on Channel O with Joe Hasham., weddings & music video clips.  Linda also appeared on "Safeway New Faces" , hosted by Bert Newton, when she was 19 and came 1st in the sem-finals and runner up in the Grandfinal  .

In her spare time, Linda also taught aerobics in gyms and clubs, but still had energy left to go to her favourite ballroom dancing classes and socials.

After retiring from the Cossacks, she started teaching and choreographing for a danceschool in Castle Hill, teaching Jazz ballet, ballet, russian and aerobics for adults. When she fell pregnant with her second child  ,Rachel,  she decided to have a break from teaching. Jumping up and down and demonstrating the splits in jazz classes when you're pregnant isn't very comfortable!

A neighbour introduced Linda to Linedancing classes and that was the beginning of another journey.

She found Linedancing easy to learn, and after one year  was  asked to take over the class due to the teacher's illness.  Jacky was a wonderful teacher, who sadly passed away.

One-Liner Bootscooters have performed regularly in demonstrations, The Easter Show, Blacktown Show, Kingslangley Fair, hospitals, nursing homes, Castle Hill Show, and local schools.

Apart from her classes, Linda also taught Linedancing every week at the local School for the children's fitness class, and they all performed  at Westpoint Blacktown for Education Week., and also at the KingsLangley Fair.

Linda is also booked for Corporate functions, birthday parties  and Workshops.

And just recently, a television commerical (which won't be screened in Australia) but will let you know when it can be viewed on Youtube!! The commercial was filmed at the Mean Fiddler, Rouse Hill and was set in a bar with Linedancers kickin up dust for a well known men's deodorant. Lot's of fun!!!
