Okay. OMG! Okay. WOW. Yes. It's true. OMINOUS YOUTH NOW HAS A MANAGER!!! Now you're probably wondering who the hell would want to be our manager and WHY!!! But ...wait for it!!! The great position of Ominous Youth's Manager has delightfully been picked up by THE ONE AND ONLY RUBY BICERSOY!!! Yes, ofcourse it's her!! Who else is cool enough and mad enough to do it! We are all really excited because Rubeous has planned for some Ominous Youth T-Shirts and Ominous Youth badges! Which will be for sale on this website once we have them! Yees, it's just so god damn exciting! GO RUBEOUS! If anyone has any ideas for Rubeous then just post on the guesbook, no doubt she will contact you back being the cool that she is! Yeah, I'm tired now, too much stationery shopping, so I'm going to sleepos!

Okay yes yes you can all kill me. It's been just over a month since I have updated on here. And yes I'm sorry! But a Happy New Year to you all. Hope you made some good new years resolutions that you most likely wont keep anyway. Well in just over 2 weeks the band shall be starting at Kamo High School! YAY! Man I'm so excited. We can actually make an E.P AND we can actually make it ourselves. AND we will probably break half the music department while in the process, but it's all for fun....right?? Yeah. Well my trip to Japan went well. Was rather fun! Actually it was great fun! I did miss you all but don't worry because I'm back now. I think this year is going to be great for the band. All it's problems have been healed up and we're all ready to start practicing for Rockquest again. I've been working on a few new songs and I believe that Karina and Jade also have. So it looks like it's all go from here. Now don't laugh at me when you read this...BUT...I want the band to take singing lessons this year at school. Yes...US...SINGING...PROPERLY! It is rather funny but it's for the good of the band. Yeah well I have to go out for dinner now. But I shall be updating more frequently from now on. OH YEAH! We will be getting our .com domain soon. Hope you guys like the new page template. I was getting bored with the old one. Also, I've put in a chatroom because Shaznae requested it. Please no abusing and whatnot.

Hey all out there in the world of Ominous Youth!! First of all I must say sorry for the lack of updates going on around here. I have been working and Jade and Karina don't have the internet so yeah...booyah! But once we're all back at school and are in the swing of things, hopefully we shall continue and our E.P will be getting released! Now I aint going to lie to all of you but we have had some...'rocky' times with the band at the moment. But I personally am sick of it and want to sort it out..so yeah..hopefully all will be well in the band. Being the Father of the band I shall sort this out  Next I am going to tell you all out there to go and buy The Rabble's new C-D! It is by far one of the best albums I have ever heard! It is just mindblowing that a New Zealand can produce such quality punk music. It is just so brilliant!! So yeah that is about it really...I'm going to Japan on the 26th December so if anyone wants anything then you better hurry up and tell me!! Have a great christmas everyone..eat shit loads...get fat...do nothing...sleep as much as you want...listen to good music...have fun!! I shall see you all soon!!!

Yo all! Happy Halloween for yesterday! Hope you all had fun! Well I have updated the songs and the pictures today. Thank you to GC - Maxine - for sending me the pictures off her phone!! I have been writing loads of songs lately and Karina has been working on this wicked as new song that sounds really like Motorhead. At band practice next Wednesday next week we shall be working on that! Oh yeah...I got my tickets for my trip to Japan! I'm going over to see my Japanese student on Boxing day! If anyone wants anything bringing back then just tell me. I shall try my hardest..yeah her brother is taking me to to ALLISTERs concert! ANYWAYS! yeah tis all for now..oh yeah, next weekend we will hopefully be having a meeting up with Headshot from Kamo High just to play a few songs to each other so yeah! Thanks all!!

Hey all! Well I have been talking with Luke - The singer from Headshot - and we are trying to organise a gig together. Just thought I would tell everyone because you will hopefully come along and see both our bands! Now Headshot are from Kamo High School and are a 5 piece guy band. They were at the Regionals of the Rockquest too and came 4th. If you want to know more about them then you can go to their website at : www.headshot.muzic.net.nz and you can listen to one of their songs too! Also to the WGHS peoples, we are going to be playing a lunchtime concert soon and it will be free. We will also be playing with Asch-Rose and Sharmel because they have to get marked for some music assignment thing. Yeah come to that too please! Well that's it really for now!

Wow, we haven't updated in quite some time. Well it's the holidays now and so I have been bored as hell so I decided to move everything around on the web site. umm..not much has really happened. Me and Karina have our lips pierced and her Mom got angry at me for that so the whole 'band' thing has been put on hold until maybe next year. BUT DON'T WORRY THOUGH! Because I have been writing songs like there is no tomorrow That's one of the things I have to do today actually. The band is relocating to Kamo High School next year hopefully. Me and Karina have interviews there the week we go back to school. Scared! Also I am hopefully getting a proper domain for the bands website. Like hopefully if Mom agrees to pay $53 a year then we can have the domain www.ominousyouth.com ! Wouldn't that be cool!?!?! Karina is babysitting all holidays and I am sitting on my ass and going to Dads and doing things there  while Jade is in Paihia as we speak! I have recently got addicted to TradeMe and I bought this book called 'Satans High Priest' by Judith Spencer! ITS SO GOOD! I reccomend it! I also reccomend you look into the band called 'Alkaline Trio'. they are one wicked band! Also I would like to congratulate Ruby Bicersoy on being crowned Ominous Youth's NUMBER ONE FAN!!!!! She's also really cool! I suggest you talk to her sometime....very funny girl! You should see her in studio 2 at lunchtime...you get a free Nirvana concert ..Well yes..going to relocate everything else on here because I'm just plain bored and can't be bothered cleaning.

Thought I'd let you allll know that we are playing next Saturday at something...I actually don't know what it is but we are playing between 1pm and 3pm, in the town basin. It's a 2 day event with loads of other stuff happening. We also have the money for our recording, thank you Jess! So we shall be in the studio very soon so our EPs will be on sale for those of you who want to buy one so you can hear what we sound like...none of this word of mouth shit no more. Yep that's about it really. Toodles

Hey peoples, I'm not leaving. Well I did leave, then I came back again. Yeah, sorry! But yeah, I'm back and better than ever...suppose! Well I am in the middle of writing a new song, it's wickedness, well I think it is. Hope you guys like it. The singing on this song is going to be a challenge for me as I have man voice and all and this singing is quite high. But once I have finished this song we will probably go into recording and come out with a C-D for you all! the C-D will be for sale for about $5 or something like that! Anyway, that's me done, and I'm very tired, seeing as it's 3am and all

Crap I'm tired! No! Got to post! Okay, well, we are getting featured in the next DrumconneXions magazine. Isn't that the best news you've heard all day?!?!?! Well it is for me  You can have a look at their website here : www.drumconnexions.co.nz . A while ago they sent out emails to schools asking for school bands that they could feature! I didn't think much else about it because I knew that we wouldn't get chosen, but yeah...we did! We had to send like this huge ass bio thing on the band and seeing as it's a drumming magazine, the drummer, ME! karina wrote this touching summary about me. It brought a tear to my eye....no it really did! Well yeah..

Nyellow! Okay well we didn't get through and we didn't get a prize, but we didn't really enter for that anyways! We got past the heats and that was all we wanted really! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! I kept missing the cymbols  and Jade and Karina had to stop because the leads kept crapping out on us  But it was still funtimes!!!!! The mosh pit afterwards was wickedness! My pants got ripped even more but it was worth it! We had so much support from friends, family, friends of family and yada yada yada and we would like to thank you ALL SO MUCH! Especially for Ruby, Nick and Sharla for the HUGE banner! I couldn't stop smiling when I was drumming and Diana pretending to be Dr. Evil in the front row didn't really help my concentration either but it was great! Thank you once again to everyone that came and watched!

Top of the Morning to y'all!..I'm being an idiot...as usual..*cough*..yes down to business..

SmokefreeRockquest is on tomorrow, the Northland Finals! They are being held at Forum North in Whangarei at 8pm. We will be playing along with around 12 other bands from Northland. Look out for a really good band from Kaitaia. They have a really good drummer with long dark dreds...so wicked! Yeap! That's it reall. Hopefully see you all there!
