This 1966 Omega Speedmaster moonwatch 105.012 is the very type of moonwatch that NASA bought from a watchstore many years ago to test for the space programme. They bought a number of watches and put them through various tests and decided that the omega speedmaster professional was the only one fit for purpose. You can read more about these tests on Jean Michels excellent website :
http://www.speedmaster-mission.net/. It is believed by many that the 105.012 was the one that Neil Armstrong wore on the moon. I bought this near mint piece from my good Swedish friend Par W. I have been after one of these calibre 321 moonwatches for a long time and when he decided to sell this one to me i couldnt say no. This one is a true keeper.
