A great all around arcade style basketball game with ton of features for the hardcore and casual of fans. This game is a complete package and the best basketball game out their. Its fast paced play is exciting and entertaining to play.

The gameplay id more arcade than simulation so you can expect more dunks and less mid-range jumpers.

NCAA Football 06

One of the best collegiate games of all-time and definitely in its franchise. It is a must own for any fan of football. This game has great gameplay & this year it has great presention. The animations look good and stadiums look crisp.

I like the new 'Race for the Heisman' mode. It gives a game completely different game mode if you get bored of Dynasty mode. (They still do not have names but you can use your Action Replay or Max Drive and get them on the Internet. I'll give links @ the bottom.) The online play is great its just that it can lag for some people. The game is more balanced this year. The running game is better than last year, but pass & run are about even. The hitstick is there too like in Madden 05, but theres no annoying helmet at the bottom. There is this new feature with recruiting system to set up pipeline states to make it easier. You can pay more attention to the drills your recruitee is doing. A new addtion is Impact Players. Where there are a certain amount of players that have white icon beneath them. So when you pick plays watch out for the players with white icon or use this to your advantage.

Another of the many features is the QB Improv. This is where in old versions of the game you would have to bring down icons to go for the first down, Now you can just hold X for PS2 or A for Xbox. Celabrating is a big part of Football and now you be Leon Lett with a touch of button. Just hold L2 and press Right Analog stick for PS2. Use the Left Trigger and Right Analog stick for Xbox. There are added Mini-Games like Pass Skeleton, Rushing Attack, Oklahoma. or just try the option. XML/RSS feeds will let users track the games of friends and see box scores and drive summaries. Now you can see when someone wins, loses, or leaves a game. The game has four tutorials so if your a little rusty go watch a couple of those. This is a fun game to play and I hope you enjoy it.

Presentation

Its really great and Corso with Mascots heads on is hilarious. All menus and Stats are good. Actually these are one of the best menus in any football game. It is Like a better Madden 05 with college.      9.5

Sound

I love the college team songs. The announcers are top of the markert. You can't go wrong with Lee Corso and Kirk Herb-whatever. The college fight songs are really good, but the soundtrack is well thats why Im giving it a 8.5

Graphics

These aren't Espn NFL graphics but still capture the college feel. The Stadiums and uniforms are great. Whats wrong with the players bodys. 8.5

Gameplay

The gameplay is the same and still really good. Its just that sometimes I still think of pressing O to sprint instead of X to take down a running back. Get used to it. Overall  a good gameplay engine.  9.5

Replay Value

I will play this until July 2006. With all the game modes its a great game of distance (hours). Dorm Party with this baby. 10.0

Madden 06

This is a great game. The newest features in this game are Superstar Mode & QB Vision Cone. Theses are big steps for Madden but don't

expect to see the 'Flashlight' in the next versions of Madden. This is slow feature that you can master but It does not by any

means revolutionize passing. Madden's Passing has been the same every year and you know the saying "If it ain't Broke, well you

know the rest." Don't expect to see an Atlanta Falcons team win the Madden Challenge, because every QB has their own vision.

For Example Trent Green has a great view of all his receivers that I can't name and Michael Vick's looks like its broke. Well its not

Vick Can't run out to the corner and launch bombs anymore. Thats a good sign Madden is improving.

Superstar Mode is a good idea, but isn't implemented good here. There is no stark difference in gameplay between Superstar Mode

and Franchise Mode. It is the same thing so I don't feel like a 'real' NFL Player. This gameplay looked great on paper but the transition

was not great. This gameplay mode will keep you busy for extra month , but it does not live up to its hype. You pick your parents, Get

drafted, Pick your Agent, you all know it. This is a good gamemode,  but needs more work.

Gameplay and Graphics are about the same this time around. The look just like 05 and there are no new animations. There are some cool

new Touchdown celebrations , but no upgrades. This year the game plays slower than previous versions of the game. It slower than

NCAA 06 Football.

Sound is the same , but I noticed Madden speaks more with nothing relatively new in this game. The game menus are top knotch like they

always are, but the O-Line is still not a NFL O-Line. The Game is still good and fun to play. All Madden Fans will buy it. Other Football

fans wait for next-gen and updated 05's Rosters because its a very small $50 upgrade.
