2008 OLIN HEIGHTS NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION PICNIC AND NATIONAL NIGHT OUT


On August 5, 2008, the Olin Heights Neighborhood Association held its 5th Annual Picnic in conjuction with National Night Out, at Hull Park. Setup began around 4:30pm. As darkness began to fall, the 2008 OHNA National Night Out Picnic concluded.


We had Over 100 participants. We also had several distinquished guests which included: Commissioner Helen Stone, Alderman Mary Ellen Sprague, Central Precint Captain Henry Wiley, Cpl Tony Lopez, Alderman Edna Jackson and Demery Bishop of Crimestoppers. Good food, fun, and fellowship was had by all. Thanks go to all of the OHNA neighbors that participated and helped in making this event a BIG success.

Special thanks goes to Target which is a corporate sponsor of National Night Out. Bran Anderson of the Victory Dr. Target store generously provided Gift Cards for Door Prizes, T-shirts, Safety Lights, Children's Activities Sheets & Games.
