On August 1, 2006, the Olin Heights Neighborhood Association held its 4th Annual Picnic in conjuction with National Night Out, at Hull Park. The actual activity was to begin after 5pm, and be centered around the park's sheltered pavilion. Around 4:30pm, several OHNA members decorated the park's pavilion with decorative lights, streamers, and helium balloons. An attractive and informative display was set up describing the Olin Heights Neighborhood Association's projects and accomplishments. There were free handouts pertaining to crime prevention.
OHNA members and visitors began to arrive around 5pm. Here are some photo highlights of our event. This is a photo album page, so please be patient while the images download.

As darkness began to fall, the picnic concluded with doorprize drawings and several announcements concerning future OHNA meetings.
Around 60 people attended this year's event. We also had several distinquished guests which included: Commissioner Helen Stone, Alderman Kenneth Sadler, State Representative John Barrow, and Central Precint Captain Henry Wiley. Good food, fun, and fellowship was had by all. Thanks go to all of the OHNA neighbors that participated and helped in making this event a BIG success.
