Acrocanthosaurus-Atokensis, McCurtain County, Southeast Oklahoma

Welcome to Our Webpage!!!
We are a couple of amateur rockhounders and fossil collectors who have decided that it was time for Oklahoma to have a bigger niche in the Geo/Paleo community in cyberspace. Inside you will find a little geological history of the Sooner State as well as some of our lessons learned in the field.
All of the information here is a result of our research through university libraries, web research, visiting with local paleontologists, and getting out in the field and sweating!
Please take a look around and tell us what you think so far and let us know in our Guest Book!
Cambrian / Ordovician / Silurian / Devonian / Carboniferous / Permian /Triassic / Jurassic / Cretaceous /
