This site was created by our FLL Robotics team for our research project concerning oil spills.  FLL stands for FIRST LEGO League, and it inspires young people to take an interest in engineering. They run competitions in which kids from ages nine to fourteen compete with robots that they built and programmed using Robolab to complete certain tasks. However, this is only half of the competition. The other half is about research. Research, research, research! Teams choose a current problem that they think that they can solve, and that conforms with the FLL guidelines. That is what this site was created for; to educate the public.
