Does your club recognize a Ruritan of the Year?  If you do, thats great, but if not, would you consider it?  It could be done very easily, at minimum or no cost.  You could hand each member in attendance at the November meeting a piece of paper to cast their vote for Ruritan of the Year.  Then announce that person at your December meeting.  You could even give a certificate or plaque.  Maybe even have a plaque created that can handle multiple names.  Engrave this years winners name on the plaque and let the member display it in their home for 1 year until next years winner is announced.    This would be a great way to honor members for their efforts.  You could even fill out the form in the Secretaries book to get District or National honors if you wish.  Imagine the fun and excitement this would create at your December meeting.  The winner would be someone that your members picked.  You could invite District Officers to help make the presentation special.  Please consider selecting a Ruritan of the Year in your club in 2013 and every year.  Thank You, Frank Kinsey - National Director assigned to Ohio.
