Above is a link to a petition started by me. I both highly recommend signing it and thank you for doing so.
LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT OF ETS
First of all, I would like to welcome all new members to the club. I am Arabian Horsey Gal 1123 or better known as number 208201 on horseland. I started this club in late 2002 when my eyes were really opened to horse slaughter and all the horrors. Even since then, this club has grown beyond my wildest dreams. I could never have imagined being the leader of a club with over 1000 people and growing. Some of the members have told me that they now have actually gone out in their area and saved horses. (Though don't get me wrong, I am not expecting you to do that. Actually you don't have to do anything if you don't want to.) I was 13 when I started this club, so not even of high school age. I hope that could be some inspiration to some about being young. Never let age hold you back when you know something needs to be done. I would also like to say that if I dont message you back for a while, please dont take it personally. I get over 100 messages in 2 days and it gets very hard to keep up. Now that basketball season has started, it will be even harder. But i will try my best! In these next few sections I will try to answer so frquently asked questions. Thanks
Q: What does ETS stand for and what does the club do?
A: ETS stands for End The Slaughter and the club opens people's eyes to slaughter. Because slaughter is virtually a secret industry, not many people know about it and the way it is done.
Q: What can I do to help?
A: I am always looking for people to help advertise the club on the "talk" section of horseland. Since the club is stricly for people on horseland, friends and family who play the game and are told are greatly appriciated. Ambitious people will make pictures, poems, and give me ideas for the site. Others help raise money to pay for things the club needs (prizes, pics, etc.)
Q: Does it cost anything to be in the club and do I need to be a premi?
A: No the club is completley free and you don't need to be a premi either. Fighting horse slaughter should be shared in by all. Not just people with money. Although I am a premi now, I wasn't when I started.
Please be sure to check back. The site is always growing and changing. Thank you so much for visiting. As always, I encourage the patient to message me with questions or comments. 208201 is the number.
