WOW! I have neglected this site for nearly a month! Amazing. There's so much that has gone on since the last time I posted, and I'm hoping I won't forget to mention too many things. And I have a TON of links :)
First off; the preformance Green Day did for Music Rising with U2 was AMAZING! And you can watch the preformance on http://www.greendayauthority.com
Then is the links to the court case -in a three part format- from a while ago) with John Lydon (Johnny Rotten) on Judge Judy:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czucGtU9AMA
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Yz9OHPoyFc
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lv5GWhHejLM
And here's "Punk History Canada" site:
http://www.punkhistorycanada.ca/
And here's for anyone interested in learning about the Black Daliah story (I know I was... but there's UNPLEASANT photos):
Now, to get back on the Canadian track... Recently, Weird Al's parody on Green Day's American Idiot came out, and I was NOT impressed. Not only was the guitar playing horrible, the lyrics were completely offensive. I for one of MANY Canadians DO NOT eat kraft dinner, but when I do, it's only because I have to. And no one really likes it. MOST of us don't say "eh?", like hockey, mapel syrup... And trust me when I say most of the population of Canadians are really not that polite.
Don't want to be a Canadian idiot
Dont want to be some beer swillin' hockey nut
and do I look like some frost bitten hosehead
I never learned my alphabet from "Eh?" to "Zed"
They all live on donuts and moose meat
and they leave the house without packin' heat
never even bring their guns to the mall
and you know what else is too funny
their stupid monopoly money
can't take 'em seriously at all
Well maple syrup and snow's what they export
they treat curling just like it's a real sport
they think their silly accent is so cute
can't understand a thing they're talking aboot
sure they got their national health care
cheaper meds low crime rates and clean air
then again well they got celine dion
eat their weight in kraft macaroni
and dream of driving a zamboni
all over saskatchewan
Don't want to be a Canadian idiot Won't figure out the temperature in Celcius
see the map they're hovering right over us
tell you the truth it makes me kinda nervous
always hear the same kind of story
break their nose and they'll just say sorry
tell me what kind of freaks are that polite
It's gotta mean they're all up to something
so quick before they see it coming
time for a pre-emptive strike
As you can see it's not a very accurate song. And Americans are ones least welcome to make those comments, seeing as the average American is fat, dumb and lazy. Why mock us Canadians? Atleast OUR average IQ is above 100 (105), while the average American IQ is a mere 86. My IQ alone is 120. So shove that up your chicken-fried hair ass Yankovic!

Today we have to remember 9/11 of 2001. I would like to show you what Andres from greendayauthority.com has posted if you haven't already seen it:
"Today is the 5th Anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States. September 11, 2001 undoubtedly changed the USA, it's citizens, and our impact on the global front. No matter whom you like or dislike, or whom you ultimately believe is at fault; it is important for all of us to take a look back and remember everyone whose lives dramatically changed all in the course of one day. Those who lost their closest friends, their relatives, the people most important in their lives – both on that fateful day and in the wars that were to follow. We need to remember a time when the entire country and a large part of the world came together to believe in one thing...hope. Hope that in our darkest hour we would come out in the end, and everything would be alright. Whether you believe that shimmer of hope has faded since that day, or if better things are yet to come - hope is what makes our lives move forward, it's what gets us through the toughest times. Hope for a better tomorrow is always on the horizon if you allow it to be, and it's that which we need to remember now more than ever."
I suggest you take his advice; it's really nice of him to have posted this for all of you.
Yesterday was also the 23rd anniversary of Billie Joe's father's death, Andy Armstrong. He died of cancer of the esophogus when Billie was only 10 years old. So this is probably the most painful time of year for our punk rock soldier. STAY STRONG BILLIE!!

Yup! The Idiot Club Q & A's are up, and the "bigs news" was released. Frankly, everyone is fairly disappointed about that news. Yes, it's for a good cause...And it's weird that they're going to do this cover of 'The All Saints Are Coming' with U2. Anyway, they have the info on http://www.greenday.com. There's also some more info on http://www.bigcountry.co.uk/forums/viewmessage/index.php?o=0&t=12985.

The Idiot Club was expecting some big news today, but was recently informed we weren't getting any:
"It appears I'm going to have to bring bad new here, folks.
The "big news" has been postponed another week (next Tuesday), so I apologize to those who stayed up to welcome the news in. I'm sure you'll all be mad at Idiot Club for this one, but it's of the label's doing, so all hate mail can go to Reprise. Thanks in advance.
We'll have a consolation video of sorts up within an hours or so, and a Q&A will be on the way soon. I apologize that it happened this way, but that's how the ball bounces sometimes, I guess. Seriously, all anger can go towards Reprise, not us. Thanks."
Also, Steve Irwin, The Crocodile Hunter, died Monday morning. I heard this shortly after the info was released, but I was too lazy to jump on here to say it. I don't understand why you're all sad; you've all made fun of him at some point. He's annoying, though, I don't care for people dying...Like Devikins of the Idiot Club. He supposidly committed suicide. :(

Updating news. First, I would like to bring up the topic that was on the Idiot Club about MCR copying Green Day:
I find it stupid and unorigional of MCR to do this--copying their favorite band...What are they? Some shitty little kid garage band that can't come up with their own ideas? GROW UP!
I Know Some Of You Guys Really Like My Chemical Romance; it's just that it seems they are trying to Copy Green Day...
Because...
1. They used Rob Cavallo to Produce their new album that's coming out
2.They used Sam Bayer to direct their new videos
3.In a video On www.theblackparade.com they say about their album having characters in their new album, like American Idiot has St.Jimmy,Whatsername etc.
4.They say it's an "Epic Opera"..like Green Day said the same for American Idiot
5.They are HUGE fans of Green Day and are influenced by them, and have said they wouldn't be a band if it weren't for Green Day (BUT DO THEY HAVE TO COPY THEM?!)
See what I mean? Some may say that Green Day will be flatered by this; I don't think they will be since this is unorigionality at work here. That's not what Green Day stand for. Anyone who disagrees is either very ignorant because they want to believe "MCR wouldn't do something like that" or they don't like Green Day and would say anything to be contradictory. It is clear that MCR are trying to get as great as Green Day, though, they will never succeed. Making just as much money doesn't make them better; it makes them sell-outs. What the above reasons are portraying is that MCR aren't in it for their love of music- If they WERE they would do something origional that they actually feel without searching out their idol's producer for help to do the same thing. And people wonder why I don't like MCR. I didn't like them before this; now I'm just plain pissed off. And not to mention the outfits!!
In other news. I added a new link to http://www.insidepunk.com and I want to mention to you all that Billie Joe's signature Les Paul Gibson guitar is up to buy here: http://www.gibson.com/Products/GibsonElectric/Gibson%20Electric%20Guitars/LesPaul/Billie%20Joe%20Armstrong%20Les%20Paul/ and Mike's signature bass is here: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Mike-Dirnt-Precision-Bass-?sku=511533&src=3SOSWXXA

Looks like I haven't updated in about a week. Well, I apologize, but it's not like it really matters. Good news though; I FINALLY finished my Sweet Children series. It is completed, and my estimate of when it'll be finished was accurate at Part Fifty- unintentional I swear. I am very proud of my story and have accomplished what I started a year ago. I was only going to write two parts this weekend, but I knew it had to be done, and I wrote five. Making the Sweet Children series ending on Part Fifty. It's been great.
There is a War Child In Canada album coming out, it's compilations put together with different artists. Here's something written about it: "The album is a fundraising endeavour designed to directly benefit war-affected children. War Child Canada is a registered charity dedicated to providing timely, effective and sustainable support to communities ravaged by war. 100% of proceeds from the album will go toward War Child Canada's humanitarian work in war zones around the world. The last War Child Canada benefit albums, 'Peace Songs,' raised $500,000. With your help, we hope 'Help: A Day In The Life' will prove an even bigger success. For more information, see warchild.ca."
I also FINALLY got the Quebec Bands section up right! So check that out!
Some big changes are coming for the Idiot Club in celebration of it's one year anniversary online. They won't say what, or when, but hopefully it's some good updates and our Q & A's answered. AND FIXING THE DAMN CHAT!

Not much news this time. School's starting soon and I'm still gathering shit together. I got my hair done yesterday though; looks FUCKING AWESOME! But you're not interested in that, so...BLAH!
The "American Idiot era" is finished for Green Day, and they're still working on those demos for the next album. I seriously doubt that Green Day will be going for a follow up to AI or anymore punk rock operas for a while...But you never know.
Remember: the VMA's are coming up soon, so get over to MTV.com again and VOTE VOTE VOTE for Green Day! Or whoever you want, but since you're not MY site, I tell you where to go! Here that?!
My friend Bianca and I are planning on having a seance on thursday and filming it...So...FUN! And a oogaly-boogaly to you. And By the way Bianca, if you're reading this; my threat to take down that page for your band is going to take affect soon if you don't hurry with those damn bios!!

Okay creatures in Green Day land, I have now JUST posted part 43 & 44 of Sweet Children. As you may have noticed, I am posting two parts every two weeks. This will continue until the series is done, but it's not yet, so put up with my ways!
News in from greendayauthority.com is that 2 new Green Day DVDs will be released late this year!

It's that time of the month again...nope. I'm not talking aout my menstrual cycle; it's the week I must go to my dad's! Did I frighten some of you? Yes? Good. So this means I'll most likely have part 43 and 44 by Monday or Tuesday. And speaking of that, I inserted a rating/comment box. Knock your socks off. :D
I want you Green Day fans to go here: http://www.mtv.com/ontv/vma/2006/#/ontv/vma/2006/category.jhtml?categoryId=rock and vote your little hearts out for Green Day to win yet another VMA for their GREAT, GREAT album, American Idiot. The awards for this album is lessening as the time for their next album to be released comes nearer, so VOTE! And you can vote as many times as you want!
And I don't like to remind you, my fellow creatures, of this, but school is going to start soon. So come up with your plots for the year to annoy the living hell out of your teachers and good luck.
My plans at the moment for this site is to get those damn bios I've been waiting FOREVER for from Wasted Sobriety...And if I don't get them soon; I'll just scratch the idea of that page and think of something else. Trust me, I have many ideas, but I'm not allowed anymore pages (including links) than 20.
Now for the special news...old news...2003 news...but news none the less!! As most of you know, Marky and DeeDee Ramone are buddy-buddies with Green Day and Glenn Matlock of The Sex Pistols is a fan aswell. But most of you didn't know that Joe Strummer, legendary Clash member that died of a heart attack on December 22, 2002, was ALSO a Green Day fan! In an article I found while surfing the net, Joe Strummer stated "I'm into all the new punk. I like to hear Green Day on the radio. It's a lot better than the other shit they play in England, let me tell you that." Can you all say "WOOT!"?

Alrighty. My uncle will be leaving this place where jaywalking is a provincial sport; Quebec, to go to Alberta tomorrow. So I'm sorry if I've been abit slack in the updates since I was busy helping him out. MAJOR changes are going to be happening in my family because we won't have his help--mostly bad changes, but what the fuck can I do about it? He'll probably do better out there since the province is lacking employees and has to pay the ones they do have extra. And I have alot of news for today, so LISTEN THE HELL UP!
To get off that subject because it's completely un-interesting to anyone but me and mine...I would like to bring up the topic of Global Warming. I'm sure you've all seen the commercial to help prevent global warming by now and you are aware it is a huge issue. So I would like you to check out http://fightglobalwarming.com and learn as much as you can to help out.
Apparently 1-800-Suicide is having problems and may take a fall if it is not helped out as well: http://www.save1800suicide.org
And according to greendayauthority.com, John Roecker's documentary following the making of Green Day's of Amercian Idiot called 'Heart Like A Handgranade' will be released in early 2007, and is concidered a "masterpiece to end all masterpieces!" So keep a look out for that.
Al Yankovic is doing some Green Day covers on his next album titled, 'Straight Outta Lynwood', after N.W.A's 'Straight Outta Compton'. Yes, you've heard Tre talk about that album in Fuse's 100% Green Day. This cover thing may turn out in a good attitude or bad--Weird Al has done Green Day covers beofore, but it still makes me cringe.
Happier updates next time, I'm outtie!

First off, I would like to say sorry to those who were waiting for me to post part 41 and 42; there was a huge thunder and lightening storm which put our power out for two days. There were 500, 000 people in Quebec without electricity. So I would like to say...OH HOW I'VE MISSED YOU POWER! NEVER, EVER LEAVE ME AGAIN!
And yes, those two parts of my story are up now. *waits for appaulse*
Surprisingly enough, I managed to wake up at 3:00PM in the afternoon today because it's the perfect weather right now. So no dying of the heat for us here in Montreal.
I would like to give you these links because this idiot girl who made these vids is gibbering about how she "met Green Day"; I'm calling for you all to go a comment on that dumb-assed prep to quit trying to make these things up. It's called 'Green Day Temper Tantrum'. Somehow I HIGHLY doubt this actually happened, and if it did, it would have gotten out sooner than this year. Plus, it doesn't sound like a Green Day thing to do.

Well, it's the first of August...I know I said I'd have part 41 and 42 posted by today, but I cannot have it up for atleast another two days because I'm helping my uncle get packed because he's moving out to Alberta.
I also found out I'm going to the Alice Cooper concert for sure down here at the St.Denis Theater! So I'll be going with my dad and sister to that on October 17th.
Green Day still has not posted the Q & A for July on the Idiot Club, which people are freaking out about and getting slightly paranoid...Even though Green Day is probably just busy working on their next album-which they are.
I added a new link to this site; http://abovetheinfluence.com. I know you've all seen their commercials and adverts, but I think it's an important topic...So check it out.

Every Green Day fan on the planet should be saying "woot!" Green Day are definently going through with the American Idiot movie, right now they are writing a treatment for it, but they won't star it in-it's not for them and I agree. They are also working on their next album: http://www.spin.com/features/news/2006/06/060602_greenday/
I found these entertaining quotes from USATODAY.com:
The band members affirm that they're in this for the long haul. "We have fans who haven't even been born yet," Cool says. "Right now, somebody's having sex and getting pregnant, and their kid's gonna be a Green Day fan."
"Or," Dirnt pipes up, "they're having sex and getting pregnant while listening to Green Day."
"Yeah," Cool says, laughing. "That little biter doesn't have a choice, does he?"

Like I said the other day, I will not be here this weekend to update, so I would like to say Happy Canada Day in advance since tomorrow is Canada Day.
And because it is the beginning of the month of July tomorrow, I believe Green Day will be coming in soon in the Idiot Club to answer some Q&A. I hope they answer some of my questions because they're not retarded like some of the questions I've noticed people asked them.
I will be going to Granby Zoo sometime in the near future...They have a water park, which I will be hanging around in, trying to accomplish my uncle's goal of not being so damn pale (though I like being untan). This way he cannot call me "goth" anymore, but I'm sure he'll still insist I'm "gutter punk" aswell.
Once AGAIN, I'm asking for the guestbook to be signed and for suggestions on what more should go into this site. AND that I'm getting pissed at Wasted Sobriety for their lack of effort in fixing their bio; I know you're birthday is coming soon Bianca, but that's NO EXCUSE! Today I have added an artwork section. I made all the artsy crap in there, and I realized the pictures are too big to fully show on the page, but if you save them to your compie; you can see the whole picture. The background music is Tre Cool's 'Food Around The Corner' and that page has an awesome wallpaper!

Apparently, it is thursday today...That's a shocker to me because I thought it was tuesday. This puts the whole date of when I was going to post part 37 out of whack, since I leave to visit my father tomorrow. So I'm sorry for that.

Here's another thing I would like to post today: The Living End is going on the Warped Tour! Can I get a "whoot!"? I'm upset that they won't be staying with the Warped Tour up to Montreal. Wow. Am I full of shit or what when I say I'll post part 37 soon? Ha. I will when I feel like it. I promise I'll have it up by the end of the week. I shouldn't say that though. lol^^
Okay, I completely gave up on trying to get 'Surrender/Bastards Of Young' to work in the 'Punk Rock Bands' section, so I put Green Day's cover of 'Holiday In The Sun' instead.
adelinerecords.net is back up again, and lookin' spiffy; congrats. And if you don't mind, I would like to point out adelinestreet.com once more because you can see the clothing line. If you look carefully in the boy's youth clothing, you will see Billie Joe Armstrong's son posing for a picture wearing an adeline shirt. And at the bottom of the main page, there's a button called 'Take Action', click it to see all the different organizations Green Day works with.
I would also like to take the time to boast that I am now a registered member of the Idiot Club-GO ME!<3 It is friggin' AWESOME and totally fun. So if any of you people are interested...JOIN!-- JOIN! JOIN! JOIN! It's $20 a YEAR-not a month.

I have added a new web link; punknews.org. And I have recently found out that Adeline Records is changing things around and Adeline Street made a new site, so I will be putting that up aswell. More updates soon.

Sorry I haven't updated lately; there has been nothing to update with *scowls at Wasted Sobriety*. Exspect to see Part Thirty-Seven of Sweet Children posted soon, but I'm just being lazy at the moment, trust me, it'll be funny!
Besides nothing...I guess I should say it's St.John The Basptist today. Though I don't really give a fuck, it is the celebration of Quebec, and I'm from Quebec, *plotting to exscape to B.C or California*.
I would also like to remind people that I would appreciate ANY suggestions as to what I can add to this site. And I have noticed that in the 'Punk Rock Bands' section, at the bottom of the page-NOT the paragraphs- you can click the play button for the song I placed on there, but it still does not seem to be playing properly, which is a real shame.

Right. I was on here until 2:30 A.M. last night posting part thirty-five and thirty-six of my Sweet Children series, and part thirty-six amuses the hell out of me! I also poked around with the music again, but the song I put on the 'Punk Rock Bands' section (Surrender & Bastards Of Young-Green Day covers) does not seem to be working properly, so obviously I'm alittle pissed off by that. ttyl.

HAHA! It is your master of ceremonies; Shannon Moore, a.k.a Babs Uvula, and I have just put a song to this homepage as well as some other pages (look around). It makes me very happy because it's I Fought The Law, a cover by Green Day. It matches with this homepage, so...FUCK YOU! I LIKE IT!
It is also my sister's birthday today, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY! And it's Father's Day; remind them of the nightmares you may have caused them. They made us what we are today...HOW COULD THEY SLEEP AT NIGHT?!
Okie. I'm STILL waiting for Wasted Sobriety to write up their damn bios including some pictures!!! GET TO WORK YOU LAZY BASTARDS! Alright...BREATH....I'm calming down now, and relaxing. Bye.

Hello fellow creatures. I had attempted to post Part Thirty-Five of my Sweet Children story yesterday, but my compie konked out on me-erased EVERYTHING-and I'm too lazy to re-write it right away because it takes atleast an hour. I have had some pure evil exams at school this week, but I promise you I will make some more changes to the site! Signing out with cheese.

I have done ALOT of updating since yesterday; new wallpapers, more punkrock bands, and I deleted some affiliates because I found out I'm only allowed a certain amount. So if I suddenly remember any sites that kick ass; say buh bye to geekstinkbreath.net and 1039sweetchildren.com because those aren't the best Green Day sites anyway.
Soon I will be having REGULAR news, but I have to wait about seven days before I can add a whole bunch of new shit in order to make this site purty. Again, I ask for any suggestions or comments. Thankies!^^

This site is under construction at the moment, but I will be adding a whole bunch of things like more affiliates, new sections... I'm making a section for Quebec (Greenfield Park) garage OR "basement" bands; I'm waiting for Wasted Sobriety to write out some crap first.
No. This is not going to be an all-Green Day site; they will be many bands that rock people's socks!!! I'm going to add The Undertones, Generation X, D.O.A, The Dickies, Bad Religion and Husker Du to that section soon. I'm going to add more stories eventually, and finish the Sweet Children series at some point. Then I will proceed with adding new sections, like art work, photo albums for different bands and bios.
I would like you all to notice the guestbook I have posted; SIGN IT! I don't care what the fuck you write, just sign it. As for the shoutbox in the chat section; people are welcome to go there anytime to gibber, it's always fun. If you have any extra suggestions for this site, you can contact me at tres_skiing_partner@yahoo.ca or eat_my_pixie_dust@hotmail.com .
